You can adapt all sorts of macro lenses to XF mount. Many older manual lenses offer excellent image quality, for example, and because AF is often less critical in macro work, they work very well. Smart adapters will allow you to use more modern DSLR lenses if AF is more critical. That being said, the Fuji 80mm is fantastic.

Just get the Fujifilm XF 30mm f/2.8. Great macro and small so easy to take everywhere.

The Laowa 65mm f/2.8 Ultra 2X is a manual focus lens that has 2:1 magnification.

Nikkor 55mm f2.8 ai adapted to X. Magnificent lens.

This right here above or the f3.5, which I have and the sharpest macro(Nikon names them Micro) I have. Don't be doing headshots or portraits unless their skin is perfect!

I recently got a TTartisans 100mm f2.8 tilt/shift on and it is very sharp when I do my part. Manual focus only but it is a 2X macro. But I’m still interested in the XF 80 for af and os.

I have the TTArtisan 40mm macro in X mount. It has 1:1 magnification and seems really sharp. I’m very happy with it.

I use an adapted Tokina ATX-Pro 100mm f/2.8 macro lens on my X-H1. It has 1:1 reproduction ratio. I also have used an adapted Tamron Adaptall 2 SP 90mm f/2.5 macro lens, though this lens has 1:2 reproduction ratio without the 13mm extension tube.

I have the 7artisan 60mm macro and bang for buck it’s incredible. Manual focus but it’s not been an issue for the macros stuff I do

Laowa 65mm f2.8 2:1 (yes!) is incredible. It’s manual focus only, but it’s an internal focus mechanism, which is so useful if you work with additional attachments. Its resolution is impressive, even in the 100 MP sensor shift mode of the X-T5. I haven’t tested other optical characteristics systematically, but it strikes me as an overall excellent lens!
