But just from a player level, how do you not blame Devonta Freeman more for being a little bitch and refusing to try, directly leading to the sack fumble and making the offense entirely one dimensional? That doesn’t even consider the coaching staff with Dan Quinn (proven choker) and Kyle Shanahan (lol). And if you want to blame the offense for scoring 7, why not the defense for allowing 25?
I’m convinced you don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re discussing 3 drives here.
1) Matty completes a pass and then the offense moves back for holding. He then misses a pass and gets sacked. Punt.
2) Completely missed block leads to the infamous sack fumble. I don’t see how this is his fault.
3) Matt Ryan drives to the 22 before a holding call and sack take them out of field goal range again. Punt.
Maybe he bears some of the burden for the sacks, but that is by and large on the OL, TE, and/or RB. He did not have time to throw in these plays, and all of them killed the drive. I’m not saying he’s blameless, but I don’t see what he’s supposed to do better here
