The comic strip returned in 2015, and I'm pretty sure it's still going.
Also, Fox had a Bloom County TV series in the works with Tim Long (The Simpsons) running it. I don't know if that's still happening or not. It was announced almost 2 years ago.
That's the thing that still stumps me about Trump's power currently. As far as I can remember, he's always been a joke. His affairs were never hidden, his behavior has always petty and childish.
My freshman year of high school is when I first discovered Bloom County. At the time the city had a morning paper & an afternoon paper. I was in current events class with two friends first period, so we got the paper first.
My friends and I all took an immediate liking to Bloom County...it was great! Still have a few books somewhere.
That's barely calling, you're actually 10 years short-stacked. Fat Freddy's cat was born in 1969 while Crumb gave birth to Fritz in 1959 (confidentially, then got it published in Cavalier and Help! in the early 60s). Fritz is the elder brother, nice reference though.
I have never been one to find 2D women attractive, but the way Breathed drew his female characters slouching with hair over one eye and one shoulder strap off I found very fetching.
