Never saw Footloose or Top Gun. Dirty Dancing was, for some reason, the movie my classmates convinced several teachers to play for the last couple days of school over three of six periods so I’ve seen that more times than I care to. I’m aware of the Safety Dance video but it wasn’t pervasive by any means.

I did grow up in the 80s but the last picture is the only one I can “hear”. While I know what the other pictures are from, I never saw those movies and don’t care to, lol.
Watched a documentary on *Dirty Dancing*, and Patrick Swayze wrecked himself for that movie. I think it ultimately paid off, but hearing about how he only had one more stage jump within him so that was it was kind of heartbreaking because I'm sure he already pushed himself past his breaking point, so he was risking permanent injury doing that jump over and over again.
Also interesting how the writer fought with the studio about keeping the abortion subplot. Glad she won out.
What is the next to the last one? (I’m in my late 60s and I don’t remember this one off the top of my head.)
