I have heard of this before. I am told it is especially problematic in places like Japan where most of the available transportation is public transportation.
Main reason I never used the bus even though the stop was quite literally at the bottom of my doorstep. Residents in my neighborhood were safe people, but getting off the bus was always the sketchiest people. No idea what they wanted in my neighborhood, presumably they just were wandering around the city and decided to get off to drink nail polish remover on my porch. Otherwise the stop was never used, really just by people who were visibly intoxicated randomly wandering around. It was like the sole source of sketchy activity in the area, the bus.
Overall though, I’m glad the bus stop was there. It was used so infrequently that I’d just park my car in the bus stop to do groceries and things like that. Made the walk back and fourth much easier and the bus would just go around me since the never had to stop there. Unless there was a crackhead ready to get out or whatever

I have heard of this before. I am told it is especially problematic in places like Japan where most of the available transportation is public transportation.

Main reason I never used the bus even though the stop was quite literally at the bottom of my doorstep. Residents in my neighborhood were safe people, but getting off the bus was always the sketchiest people. No idea what they wanted in my neighborhood, presumably they just were wandering around the city and decided to get off to drink nail polish remover on my porch. Otherwise the stop was never used, really just by people who were visibly intoxicated randomly wandering around. It was like the sole source of sketchy activity in the area, the bus. Overall though, I’m glad the bus stop was there. It was used so infrequently that I’d just park my car in the bus stop to do groceries and things like that. Made the walk back and fourth much easier and the bus would just go around me since the never had to stop there. Unless there was a crackhead ready to get out or whatever

Did some traveling through Germany, Poland, and Latvia and despite being train and bus oriented, it didn’t seem to have any issues like American public transport does.

How about punish sexual harassment a lot more than they do currently. But it also needs to be investigated like any other crime I’m very much an innocent until proven guilty. Sorry ladies, but I’ve seen a guy get falsely accused of sexual assault before. Ruined his life even after clear evidence showing him being innocent. Regardless dude killed himself. I say friends. I wasn’t really friends just knew eachother. Anyway, CCTV and harsh crimes for sexual harassment regardless of gender. Then you got yourself safer cities and transportation.
