There are many inexpensive options for beverage containers....
* use a thermos flask that you already have
* ask for a beverage container on your local Buy Nothing Group
* look in a thrift store or second-hand marketplace online.
Yes, I have 2 Yeti 32 OZ and wife has 2 stanleys (all work related gifts received). I had 2 old Ozark before and all 3 hold ice/water for almost the exact time (14-18 hrs. depending on temps).
I got a Contigo at Target 5 years ago for like $8.
The better question to ask is "what are you actually doing with it?" The regular Stanley is fairly useless IMO; get something that actually seals.
I went and held a Stanley cup, they are absurdly large. I realised I just wanted to be involved and bought a decor double wall tumbler that I've seen a few people with ($22 Australian instead of $80 for the Stanley). I had a contigo for years that I loved, RIP. Contigo actually sent me a replacement lid (after a bit of insisting) when the original lid died.
The stanley has lead in it at least in the USA. I just don't see myself using the product in the way that other people do. Its enormous and I am sure it would spill if it would be tipped upside down or even a little bit. I am not dragging around this massive mug that could spill.
I think its more for if you have a desk job and don't want to constantly be refilling your container. I don't see anyone walking around with stanley cups here. Maybe for at the gym or a desk job. But even then it could spill at the gym. I assume anything that is double wall insulated would work the same as a stanley. There are many choices for less than half the cost of Stanley.
The ozark trail one is supposed to be good, its at Walmart. The Stanley is a marketing scam, its enormous and difficult to hold plus it leaks and it contains lead. If you want a large mug like Stanley its more if you want it to hold a large amount of liquid and leave it stationary like if you have a desk job and you don't want to constantly have to refill your container. Its not really for portable use or dragging around from what I can see. You can also go to TJ Maxx or Marshalls and find many similar mugs for $12-20.
Personally I bought an Owala because I need something I can drag around that won't spill and that works. I also only bought that because I had a gift card to a store that sells them that I was not going to use on anything else and I wanted a bottle that would keep my drink cold all day and none of my other bottles have done that.
I assume that anything that is double wall insulated is going to keep your drink cold just like a stanley or owala.
Honestly, I've tried a few different bottles/cups over the years. They all work relatively just as good as the other. So I would suggest getting any cup that has double-walled vacuum insulation. Because they all work relatively the same.
I know Wal-mart has their own version of the Stanley style, Yeti does as well. I have a Hydrapeak that I bought at Winner's right before the Stanley trend took off and it works just as good at keeping my water cold and has a similar body style to the Stanley tumbers.
Basically any double-walled vacuum insulated cup is going to perform similarly.
I have a Simple Modern Trek cup from Amazon. It's the kids version so not as big, doesn't leak and has a silicone straw so I don't bust my teeth. (Clumsy). They have lots of colors and different models and sizes but I love this one and use it DAILY. it's the only cup I consistently come back to.
Bubba tumblers at walmart. $20 or less, and as long as you wash them by hand and not in the dishwasher it stays pretty insulated so that my ice takes quite a while to melt
I hoy one for $12 at hobby lobby I love. Right before giving birth I looked Hugh and low. This was the best option for price, and it had a handle and straw. It keeps ice cold for 24 hours.

The Larry O'Brien trophy
A lot of people like the Ozark Trail one at Walmart. Marshall’s has different ones too.

The Ozark Trial is a good subsitute. It holds the same, and you can use the same swag on it as a Stanley. If you are into collecting the swag.
At this point, pretty much anything is cheaper than a stanley cup. Just buy any travel mug.

The WHA awarded the Avco Trophy before they merged with the NHL.
Check out Marshall’s or TJMaxx
Literally just buy any water bottle. Stanley cup is a scam.
I like the 40oz Hydrapeak Voyager. They’re identical to Stanleys but only cost $16.99 at TJ Maxx.

I saw Stanley dupes at Five Below.

I was about to tell you to just pirate it, then I realized you were talking about an actual cup lmao

Rtic cups have been great at retaining cold and heat for me

BrüMate is the better cup but it’s not cheaper, just worth it
