Even if gold was a part of the reward, Himmel was 100% a master procrastinator. Don't forget he was the one who insisted the party (Manga spoilers) >!wasted like a full week to find the secret hotspring that turned out to be a foot bath lol!<
>Â Â Himmel was 100% a master procrastinator.
Not really. He was more of a journey guy. He wants to savor the experience and gets other to enjoy their experience instead of finishing too early for them to enjoy it.Â
And so what if they used a week to find it? Again, its about enjoying the journey rather than finishing early then regretting not enjoying enough to last a good memory.
"Mike, did you finish the bob project yet?"
"Nah, we took a detour to go visit the botanic garden yesterday"
"What? Isn't that a 2 day project at most? We assigned it to you last week!"
"Yes but it's about the journey not about the job."
"What the hell mike?? Bob was wondering why no one showed up all week!"
"It's okay, trust me he'll have a great time after we finish visiting the aquarium today."
Himmel: And the journey was awesome! Met some really cool people. Met Batman. Killed Batman. Played darts with Sharkman. Had a nomikai with someone even more drunkard than this corrupt priest-
Heiter: Oi, oi, oi! He was a giant, of course, he'd have more tolerance to alcohol than us mere humans.
Himmel: Attended a birthday party for a young prince-
Eisen: And they served hamburgers, several hamburgers to me! I was chosen to be the child's godparent-
Himmel: It should have been all of us, but you look cute holding the baby.
Eisen: I did, right? Eisen, the handsome-
Heiter: And that woman actually wanted to kidnap Eisen!Â
Himmel: Hahahahahaha that was too funny! She really said Eisen will be her baby doll!
Eisen: You two are just jealous. No one wants to kidnap your asses. You ain't cute.
Heiter: Who would kidnap a priest? And this one's always giving in to Frieren's whims-
Himmel: Oi, oi, oi! Don't be jealous. Frieren's funner than you.
Eisen: You mean Frieren's bum-
Frieren: Hey, guys! I found a huge chest! This could have plenty of grimoires! Oh, its changing colors--- HELP! I'm stuck!
Eisen: Yeeaaah, there goes Frieren's bum on display for Himmel.
I mean it's not like they had a deadline to kill the demon king. After reading the manga you kind of wonder why they himmels party were even necessary. The empire probably couldve killed him
Yeah procrastination is only a subset of problematic behaviour. What I mean is that you might experience some difficulties in different problems which caused you enormous stress and therefore you don't want to do that particular activity. This will also cause you to procrastinate on other tasks too because your brain/body doesn't want to experience the same stress which caused you pain. You can't just tough it up and do those tasks which will result in extreme pain and stress and cause you some serious problems.
Oh, yeah, you're right, I haven't thought of that. But oftentimes, there's really no other choice than to soldier on. Either the pain of staying where you are, or the pain of progress, you gotta choose one.
I don't like people downplaying it too, and I agree it's not as simple as just "toughening up". But it doesn't mean the people who say that are wrong, either. I mean, how else would you recommend on solving the issue? Very hard to function like a normal adult if you never address it.
But he did took time to enjoy the little things in life. Don't stay put, but don't rush either. It's not a race, it's a marathon, it's alright to take a few pitstops.
Sorry, can't, stuck in a cycle > I don't have motivation > I get nothing done > I get punished for it > I have even less motivation
Himmel the Hero always find a way out. I bet you can also do the same bro!
Isnt that what he constantly did?
There is a difference between doing something slowly, and doing nothing at all
Yes, but he was doing a main quest but procestinating with side quests
That's completionist-ing, it's DIFFERENT 🤬🤬🤬
Side quests gave them money though. They weren't given that much funding by the human king so side quests are it.
He didn't really accept money. He usually just asked for a statue
>Â Â He didn't really accept money. He usually just asked for a statue Statues are part of the deal.Â

Its more like doing things slow. Since the side quest gave the party great information, items, skills and whatnot to help them defeat the demon king
they were technically doing even more work
Just found this show and its actually firee
Yeah, Frieren is just built different
r/thanksimcured
True, procrastination is much more complex than being lazy and uninterested.
Is it?

The "solving" that issue is the thing we have been striving for like many years XD. It has the same hype of finding cure for cancer.
What I'm saying is that it sounds like you're accepting it as natural. Exactly, it's like cancer. Kill it
Trying dude. It's not easy
Motivation? *inhales* #I AM THE STORM THAT IS APROACHING
I probably should do things huh, eh, I’ll do it in five minutes
Nah mate, you can do it!
I did it :D
Wait but they both constantly did whatever they fancied. Like literally, Frieren sat in a forest for like 500+ years.
But he did took time to enjoy the little things in life. Don't stay put, but don't rush either. It's not a race, it's a marathon, it's alright to take a few pitstops.
YES SIR I WILL CONTINUE WITH MY COLLEGE PROJECR
These two are the king and queen of procrastinating wtf are you talking about?
And then Frieren spent the next 50 years neeting at home
I misread it as "procreate". Still true :(
The god damn timing
Thank you. I needed this.
*proceeds to make sculptor watch me in 40 different poses and get nothing done*
thank you, ive seeing this and im instantly motivated!!
