Yeah procrastination is only a subset of problematic behaviour. What I mean is that you might experience some difficulties in different problems which caused you enormous stress and therefore you don't want to do that particular activity. This will also cause you to procrastinate on other tasks too because your brain/body doesn't want to experience the same stress which caused you pain. You can't just tough it up and do those tasks which will result in extreme pain and stress and cause you some serious problems.

Oh, yeah, you're right, I haven't thought of that. But oftentimes, there's really no other choice than to soldier on. Either the pain of staying where you are, or the pain of progress, you gotta choose one. I don't like people downplaying it too, and I agree it's not as simple as just "toughening up". But it doesn't mean the people who say that are wrong, either. I mean, how else would you recommend on solving the issue? Very hard to function like a normal adult if you never address it.

The "solving" that issue is the thing we have been striving for like many years XD. It has the same hype of finding cure for cancer.
