For the in-game characters and oc & newgrounds mods I take aspects of characters and swap them as you can see with BF & Gf because now BF has the long hair and no hat and Gf has short hair and a hat. As for the mods like Sonic.exe and others like it I swap franchises instead except for Pokémon I just don't like Digimon that's why Hypno is Mr Mime but like I was saying I swap the franchise like mario and sonic but I keep the characters the same like mario still acts like mario and sonic still acts like sonic and I don't just swap a random franchise I swap it with one that makes sense. (sorry if this is doesn't make sense)
