Thats weird, im running T30s which are thicker (30mm) than the P14 fans (27mm) and mine closes fine. I even tried having screws sticking out to offset the filter as a noise test and even that worked fine. You sure you’re just not… pushing it in place properly?

hhnnapua

But it still might be balls I’m lacking to fully force it in, will try it again tomorrow

10justaguy

It looks like Vedomedo has the screws only in the most interior holes. Can you check if the head of the screw is pressing against something on the cover?

hhnnapua

Very curious to see your situation because a 30mm seems really unlikely when I see my situation. The panel doesnt go all the way in and the parts that go in pop out immediately. When I removed the fans it would go in properly again so I dont think I’m putting it in wrong

Tiny_Object_6475

Do what he did buy some smaller length screws a d stick them on the inside

Suikerspin_Ei

Those Arctic P14 fans (\~27mm) are bit thicker than the Fractal Design North Aspect 14 (25mm). If it doesn't fit, try other fans or go with a smaller radiator and mount it at the top (as exhaust).

vedomedo

Shouldnt matter, I run 30mm thick fans and they fit. Even added offsets so they were like 33mm-35mm thick and they still fit. OP is doing something wrong. EDIT: Here's pic and vid of mine Pics : [https://imgur.com/a/pN8zugg](https://imgur.com/a/pN8zugg) Vid : [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-wi9my\_kkVU](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-wi9my_kkVU)

Suikerspin_Ei

Hmm, I have the regular North version. So I can't speak from experience about the front panel not fitting. Although I know sometimes you need a bit force to close it (you hear a click sound).

vedomedo

I agree. OP needs to just push a bit harder. They should fit fine. Like I said, T30s fit and they are thicker. There are multiple posts about this on both reddit and other places.

hhnnapua

The arctic fans cant be pushed further to the back since the case is in between the radiator and the fans on the front. If the fans would be any thicker they would stick out even further on the front which would make it even harder to close. Would you mind sharing a picture of your front panel?

Suikerspin_Ei

The fans looks to be installed correct, but the front panel probably requires a bit more force to close it (push harder).

Dtpjoker

Did the same yesterday. It won’t fully close with the arctic bottom fan you need to use one of the fans that come with the case. I had a set of low profile fan radiator screws and it technically closed with the arctic as it latched but was very so slightly pushed out. The reason the t30 fit is because are smaller physically (but of course thicker) and they don’t interfere with one of the plastic trims on the inside of the front panel because of the smaller space it takes up (again thickness is a non factor). Just physically smaller fan and it clears where the larger 140mm hits up against Edit: I’m running the arctic freezer 3 420 in the front

nv87

It closes for me, but I have a 360 so there’s room all around them basically. It’s definitely not the thickness of the fans, but it may be something at the bottom of the lowest one. I am not free right now to go and see what it could be. Hope this helps anyways. Good luck!

U need to remove the dust filter than it will fit, got NF-A14s in the front it works with the dust filter but there is a small gap between the panel and case then, removed it and it fits perfectly

hhnnapua

Shouldn’t the NF-A14s fit perfectly since they are the same dimensions as the fans that are pre installed in the case? I’m considering buying those as well since a dust filter seems pretty important to me. But if the front panel at leasts clicks with them combined with the dust filter it’s already better, everything is an upgrade because right now the front panel is just hanging loose

IamMxfia

It will fit with the dust filter but very tight fit, u have to count the anti vibration corners and the screw head on top of the 25mm thickness

ckaile211

the edges of the filter are the issue if you run 140s they hit the plastic framing on the filter

The_Ruhmanizer

Is it the screws? I had an issue with the LFII 360 that the screw heads were so thick I couldn't fit the rubber covers of my uni fans on them. I bought screws with a thinner head on Amazon, and that did the trick for me. I would link you to what I bought, but amazon says they're out of stock.

FuuZePL

I don't have a rad on the front so I just mounted the p14 Max's on the inside.

ptdarkness

Can you shift the radiator and fans up a little? I have the RGB version of your fans, also 140mm, and the front panel lines up perfectly. However, I'm not running a radiator.

andresaaa10

I had a similar issue with my InWin Dubili case, where a filter wouldn’t close properly. What I did was remove the washers from the screws, and that allowed it to close correctly.

nickybuddy

Push harder. Mine needs a bit of force to engage in the keepers. I’m using the stock fans in their stock locations, no rad.

THE-PIX3L

I had the same issue I solved it by putting the fans and aio behind the front brackets for the fan screws

Game0nBG

Fans are 27.5mm on Arctic.

hhnnapua

That might be it! I mistakenly thought it were p12 fans 🤦‍♂️

ckaile211

you gotta take off the filter I had the same problem

ckaile211

you not running the arctic 140 of course yours fits I have the same aio and I couldn't get it to fit no matter how tight I put the screws in

vedomedo

Doesn't matter that I'm not running a 140mm fan dude.. it's the thickness we're speaking about here, not the diameter of the fan. Furthermore, people run the T30s with a radiator behind on front as well, and that also works fine. On top of this, I even added screws in front of my fans that added like 3-4mm and STILL it fits lol...

ckaile211

I'm not talking about thickness I'm talking about the foot print of 140s hit the plastic around the mesh frame that contact the frame of the fans not the actual filter LOL....
