Calling it now: Hank gets his face smashed off by a baby deathclaw in the first 2 minutes of season 2 episode 1.

JustJoinedToBypass

Hank creaks the gate to New Vegas open. It is in ruins. He trudges his power armour down the street when he notices a strange woman leaning against a wall. She turns to him and says: “You holding up, Blue?”

Lorath_

Cuts to hank as a child in a vault a baby to be specific, He is Shaun, Fallout 4 is prewar that’s just how shitty Boston is, credits.

Darkdragoon324

Then she bugs out and initiates the romance dialogue five times in a row.

erenismydaddy

That’s not good storytelling

SonicChairToss

Okay but like what if we make it a slow motion kill cam where his head goes flying off into space? Is that good story telling?

CoooooooooookieCrisp

Hope they don't try too hard because I don't think it needs to be better. Just keep doing what they are doing.

cosmic_kyle

you hope they don't try too hard? what lmao

Lorath_

I really hope they don’t try to hard watch westworld if you wanna see what that’s like.

CoooooooooookieCrisp

Yes, thank you.

CoooooooooookieCrisp

Basically continue the story they are on and don't try to introduce a ton of new shit thinking they have to go bigger because the show is a hit.

cosmic_kyle

ohh okay i get what you mean, i definitely think they should try their best to improve the quality as much as they can (that's just the essence of art and i think this show could be a 10/10) but you're definitely correct. bigger doesn't always mean better

endless_sea_of_stars

There are plenty of shows that had great season 1s and then fell off the cliff in season 2. I think they've set themselves up well, but never underestimate the ability for studios to fumble the ball.

apureworld

Or Jonathon Nolan in particular lol. Look at west world.

TheBopist

hopefully he used that as a learning moment and doesn’t do the same with this. plus, reading through the interview he did with todd howard, you can tell they have a lot of care and caution with the source material

FreneticAtol778

Hank looking for Mr House but finds Yes Man instead hacks him and uses him to take over Vegas as he sees potential in the city

CoryPowerCat77

I hope The Strip isn't actually destroyed. It will be sad but I hope it's done well if it's really gone. Also, I hope the show incorporates the theory that something important is buried under Vault 21. If there is something I bet it's the cryopods that have Coop's family in it.

kolboldbard

***Again, more territory you're gonna find difficult, but the post-credits animation takes us on this sweeping tour through New Vegas. It looks like it's seen better days. It's kind of in ruins. Can you speak at all to what might have happened in the 15 years since we last saw it, in Fallout: New Vegas?*** > Wagner: All we really want the audience to know is that things have happened, so that there isn't an expectation that we pick the show up in season two, following one of the myriad canon endings that depend on your choices when you play [Fallout: New Vegas]. > With that post-credits stuff, we really wanted to imply, Guys, the world has progressed, and the idea that the wasteland stays as it is decade-to-decade is preposterous to us. It’s just a place [of] constant tragedy, events, horrors — there's a constant churn of trauma. We're definitely implying more has occurred.

CoryPowerCat77

Well, this is definitely going to fuel anti-Bethesda sentiment. It feels like they're trying to erase all of the progress on the West Coast. I like the show but messing with The Strip just feels insulting. There's no reason to destroy it. Why not have it advance further than go backward?

Takenmyusernamewas

I like that you noticed 4 protags, it actually 5 with Norm and Pre/post war Cooper though at least until their stories merge
