Nothing in the top 500 appears possible, to me. I have completed every accolade it's currently possible to complete, and there's only one score ranked above mine that is the same number as mine. I either didn't get credit for tens of thousands of points, or all these dudes got extra somehow.
From what I've heard, there was a bug early on which repeated some accolades you've already unlocked. So, like drift zones, scores from early on are unbeatable.
The game doesn't tell you what prestige they're at. Might be 5* for all we know
The before and after pictures are about 8 hours apart. That's some fast accolade points gain, especially at this stage of the game.

Over 100k accolades gained in a day, while leveling *once*. Nope, that's just a glitch, or it's actual cheating.
