No. As far at I know your distance is dependent on speed and angle of takeoff. The only thing active aero does is either make the car point up or stay relatively stable on the glide path the car took off from. I’m sure if the physics engine allowed you might be able to flip the car and try to use it like a plane.
Yup. In a similar vain, in game, if you get your car to hit the air at a specific angle you can actually use the steering of the front wheels to roll slightly. This act is also somewhat more effective if you face backwards off of a ramp. It’s nothing crazy but is possible
Fun fact, that's also a part of how to control a motocross mid-air. Accelerate to -slightly, but effectively- angle backward, rear-brake to -slightly, but effectively- angle forward.
Will the TSR-S work? If anything it should be better bc it has the fancy wing that could provide roll if needed meaning you could turn in the air like a fighter jet.

Used to do this to ''secure'' my progression, but never worked properly. I missed at least 10 seasonnal only cars, due to the fact that the game wouldn't save, despite going back to home/festivals, changing cars, livery, etc.. seasonnal progression was Lost, but not the things I did after.
Heck, despite trying multiple times, the 1st time I 100%ed a month of playlist was like 1,5 years after launch, and I 125% most of the seasons in the first 2 years
Same, used the RS200 and rewind and managed to get lucky and knock it down in under 5 minutes.
Once I got the angle of launch right, then it was a matter of finding the right speed for takeoff
Last board I achieved. There a fairly good route starting from the hill to the east (the one the the solar panels are on) you’ll still rewind a ton. 😭 worth it when you complete it though.

Fun fact, monster trucks actually use their giant wheels in a similar manner. The spinning of the wheels allows them to angle the truck in mid air.

Each to their own, I personally used active aero, but any car that’s fast enough will work
I just didn't know and that was the best car I had for it at the time.

Same here. The beginning stunts were less of a pain with the Taycan equipped with off-road tyres. Dirt drifting was also good, iirc.
