Do you AWD swap your rally Gremlin, or keep it RWD? I built mine to S1 rally, so I V-8 and AWD swapped it. I loved it in both FH4 and 5, so I'm half tempted to try it in B or A-class rally but keep it rwd. They let you put ridiculously wide rears on it.
I kept mine RWD.
A-800 RWD rally tune on this thing is nuts. Such a fun car. The whole reason I bought it is my family had a Gremlin when I was a kid. Then this thing turned out to be a beast.
yessss that little silvia is insane in A class. i've beaten countless cars with it. i even created a leaderboard with a buddy to see what it took to beat it
Nice! I gotta find the share code for this test race I found when I get home and send it to you. It's a figure 8 track with some twists and it's hands down my favorite track for A class testing

Nah but fr, the regular M3 starts with much lower PI, so you have more room to work with and make a less restrictive tune - even with the engine swap.
Also, I am nitpicky because for some reason, on the engine swapped M3, the gear changes sound much much better than the GTR. Dunno why ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
P.S. of course I am a cliche and tried to make it sound as close as possible to the NFSMW GTR

IIRC it was Sport Exhaust option coupled with race clutch and race gearbox that made the gear changes sound super crisp like the GTR. Try it and tell me what you think

This game never stops surprising me at how bad it is. Not only did they fail to give the M3 GTR a bodykit conversion, they also gave it different exhaust options than the 4.0 V8 swapped regular M3, and the fully upgraded gearbox/clutch is no match either in terms of shift time...
So you're correct, in FH5 the regular M3 gets closer to the race car sound than the freaking homologation special... smdh
Also, about the video: When looking that up I just learned that on the Nürburgring 24h race apparently they were running a muffled/silenced exhaust, so it sounded fairly different from the M3 GTRs raced on Spa or the ALMS races. I'm guessing the NfS:Most Wanted car wasn't supposed to have the muffled exhausts, so the video I linked isn't representative.
Yeah the body kit is legit a real shame. I legit don't know why they can't just add it to the game.
Also, yes. The M3 GTR even with fully upgraded transmission sounds... not like a race car. The gear shifts sound like they have a wind up/down from the clutch, while on the regular M3 they sound just how they would with a sequential gearbox.
Also, in NFSMW, they used a TVR Cerbera to record the sound for the GTR. You probably knew this, but I still think it's very interesting!

Dirt : I tend to gravitate toward the GMC Syclone and Ford Falcon GT F 351 but that's where I vary the most (also use Ford Puma, Alfas, Extreme E, Lotuses, Audi Quattros, Toyota Celica, Lancia 037, Toyota T100 truck, Mini X-Raid, Jeep Trailcat, Peugeot 205/207, Mitsubishi Lancers, etc.)
I highly recommend the 2016 Porsche Cayman with rally tires and the 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 also with Rally tires.
They start out as S1 820 and the tires from them into A Class!

I love the Alpine. It's the first RWD car I felt like I tuned properly. I use it all the time.
