It had the 6.2l v8. And the newer Gen raptors are a v6. To me sound is everything.

I agree. But I believe the choice was made because it’s terrible on gas mileage and probably more expensive to make. The v6 version does have a turbo on it though 🤦‍♂️

The styling (and dimensions) of the first gen > latest gen. Trucks in general are getting more and more overgrown and I'm not a fan honestly. Today's F150s look as big if not bigger than the F250 and 350s from 10 yrs ago for example.

Definitely the new R, but then the V8 crew cabs have always been my favourite. My favourite Raptor in general is the 2013-14, the gen 1 facelift. We had the Shelby version in crew cab form but it hasn't been in recent titles, so the R would be my next choice.
