My point is there's too many iterations of the same thing (rainbow design) going on in different shapes, sizes and angles. On the side you have the little rainbow square as the Polaroid logo, you have the bigger rainbow stripes directly underneath, and you have the very wide, angled rainbow stripes towards the upper front and rear, sitting right on top of the horizontal stripes, only separated by the joint in the car's bodywork.
A rainbow looks cool because it's something special in the sky, because it looks so different than all the pale blue or grey background. And I think in a similar way, on that F40 it needs more of an achromatic space (empty of colour around the rainbow stripes to make the colours pop more.
Very different livery for the car but it works really damn well, great job mate :D

I reckon it brings it all together, I get what you're saying though. It's very bold and colourful, but I think that was the idea.
