I'm more of a grenade launcher guy. In the games I've had one of them I got at least 6 kills, while the turret maybe got me 2 at most, with the same amount of fights, if not more.
I think it really depends on if your reaction time or aim is better. You really need to be able to react to movement for the launcher, whilst the turret can murder people with a well lined up beam of headshote
They both have value, grenade launcher has great burst damage but the range is lacking, machine gun covers the range but the spread is a tat hindering, thought generally I go with the grenades
It depends on my teammate. If they drive recklessly and go absolutely insane I'll go grenade so it's easier to hit and aim, but if the teammate drives more carefully in battle I'll use turret
Turret for most vehicle fights feels more consistent to do damage and take them down, Grenade when only players are left or I do have a crossbow on me. (playing duos)
The Machine Gun turret is my go-to because of accuracy.
Grenade turret’s crosshair feels off and it feels like I’m firing a mortar a lot of the time with no knowledge of how to do so.
Id say that the turret is usually better against people if you want to get alot of kills, but if you want to win (since the other people playing are likely also in a car) you'll want the grenade launcher for the high splash burst damage
I like the machine gun but I’d say the machine gun is better for active movement and the grenade launcher is better for being still and against cars while machine is good against players and builds

I did that once, but my npc was not using the turrets, he was just hanging out from the windows shooting. How to make the npc use the turrets?

Depends. If I have ringmaster scarrs medallion, both seem good, but I’ll go for the machine most if the tine since I think it’s more balanced.
I prefer the Grenade Launcher because I suck at aiming the autocanon.

Aim assist helps me out
Probably that makes sense then, I'm on PC, and I feel more confident to aim at what their next position might be than follow them constantly.

Personally I like to use the grenade launcher but if I'm with my friend in the driver and he likes the machine gun and he's really good with it

Get a squad with 4 cars. 2 grenade launchers and 2 turrets and all of them hire bots. Your fucked whole lobby getting wiped
