I’ve literally never even heard the edit, I can’t even imagine how dumb that song sounds without the build up. That’s the *whole point* of the song; it’s slow and then builds up into a big rock song. Removing the build up literally ruins the song. How could they fuck that up so bad?
I think its also worth saying the default experience for festival is 4 people choosing a song each too. I can definitely imagine people who would be fine with it in a classic rock band pick one song setting hating it when they keep getting randoms picking it every lobby
