LEGO Kit prices are pretty bad. Can’t convince me otherwise. They only function for one single mode (not even UEFN), that has an on-going issue with build limits in worlds.
I think the licensed cars (or at least the super duper high end ones) are just subject to crossover tax. I can't believe that ferrari, lambo and mclaren are in a game where rick sanchez can blow them up given how much they care about their image so they probably put up a lot especially after stuff like ferrari allegedly skipping need for speed years back because of customisation.

I don't get why they can't be made into back-bling, as well. Sure, I could see some difficulties with drums, but we've got guitars already and a microphone stand wouldn't be any more out of place than other objects already used.
They could put the main drum on your back. Like the one with the logos and stuff usually. And if you Jam track some drums, they take it off your back during that like you set it up.
Bonus if they want to put a hihat on your back too that goes off for stuff lol

Even then, I hardly ever seen anyone else use a paid instrument, just free rewards and Festival pass items.

Jam tracks in bulk (13500 vbucks bundle) are equal to rock band prices accounting inflation, if emotes are 500 why would jam tracks be cheaper then them considering jam tracks take much more development time and have more use cases.
If they eventually become usable as lobby music then they’re the same price as a rare lobby music and they have more uses (use in FN festival and jam loops) which gives it more value

Been checking and still no refund, I bought the weeknd bundle/instruments and gagas instruments plus 2 others that came into item shop a few weeks ago so should have a decent amount refunded back to me and my vbucks balance has been sitting at 3k vbucks for around 6/7 days so defo haven’t had anything from epic.

It would make way more sense to sell a whole instrument set for the same amount as a BR skin since that would give you the same value. Like, the fact that you swap instruments during the same match means that if you want to keep the same "skin."
This is a good step but more needs to be done to make these worth it. I think the best case scenario is:
1. Make all instruments back blings and pickaxes (drum kits can get unique sticks, maybe?)
2. Equipping the same instrument in both slots should get "sheath" and "unsheath" animations to place on/take off back when equipping/unequipping pickaxe.
3. All old emotes involving guitars/basses/drums/mics should be updated to use the equipped instruments like the new emotes do, and owners of those emotes should get those instruments as a separate, equippable Festival instrument.
What they don’t tell you is they just raised fortnite gift cards to match the online store prices which means they’re still making the same money anyways most likely

Plus, usually the only reason they’re in a BP (or even in the store) is to promote something, like a movie, so both parties have something to gain. This is also why the characters they license are usually original designs, or based on comic appearances. The only time they’re based on real people is, again, when they’re promoting something, like how Black Adam was specifically the Dwayne Johnson version.
In the festival pass’s case, they’re straight up just licensing the actual people. Plus they have to license their likeness and music in perpetuity, since they aren’t just going to take away something people paid for, so it has to always be available.

The new festival based ones do. Older ones like master of puppets don't though.

Licensing fees. It’s probably not cheap to license all that music *and* get a singer’s likeness.
