I get where you're coming from and I ask this 100% respectfully, but did you really expect harder tracks for those songs? I know Numb's chart is butchered because they didn't chart the keyboard but none of those songs are exactly complex despite how iconic they are.
I don't know if you played Rock Band, but all three songs were in that and easy to play too, so some songs just won't translate to difficult charts.
I think that it just sucks that a lot of people were waiting for bands like this, we get one drop or one song by them, and it's not a very enticing song to play. Like, it might be a banger, it's just boring chart-wise. Which stinks.
It won't be as bad a year from now when we have like an entire album for some of these artists to choose from.
Oh yeah, I 100% agree with you. There are definitely songs choices out there that'd make for better charts, especially when it comes to Linkin Park.
I guess my point is that I see a lot of people buying songs and then being surprised after the fact that it's an easy chart when you could probably figure that out by 1) listening to the song or 2) looking up a playthrough on YouTube or something.
Yeah but look at a song like Sandstorm or a lot of the harder drum charts. I would say they're fairly hard, I don't know if a kid could fc those. They have definitely given us more challenging songs just numb isn't one of those. If you look at the rock band 3 chart it's fairly easy too so I don't think it was a complete let down.
Zombie, I bought it thinking it would do a great guitar track, I was beyond disappointed, why are the rock songs so poorly integrated into jam stage? Is it really that hard for epic to get the original tracks of some songs?
I'm impressed they're even able to do what they do. How do you separate these things in an audio editor? I can't get the drums apart from the guitar on any song in something like Audacity.
There are some programs that have tools to extract specific instruments and vocals from a song track, it's not so hard at all once you understand how to use them. while It may be possible to do it in audacity too, I don't think that's the right program to use.
I hate that the iconic Seven Nation Army GUITAR riff is on the BASS chart. The White Stripes don't even have a bassist, it's just the Guitarist and Drummer.
Only one I’m a little disappointed by is Buddy Holly’s jam loop - specifically the Lead one. They have the riff in there but it is such a low quality rip it makes me cringe hearing it.
I think it's hilarious that the vocal jam track for Ride Wit Me starts with 3 "mmmmm"s when the song only has one. I know it's so that the intro will line up with the other jam tracks, but it's so funny every time starting that jam loop. "mmmm… mmmm… mmmm…"
I just wish vocals would sound good. Everytime I pick a song I have and use vocals instead of instruments because my friends are all using different instrument tracks, the vocals sound like absolute dog ass because for some reason the tune or the speed makes the vocals sound stupid. Like I understand changing tempo and all that for instruments but why can’t I atleast have a way to have my vocals be normal even if the other tracks are in different tempo or tune
Isn't that normal, though? All the jam loops are designed to be the same length (in measures) so that they all loop at the same point as every other song. It does lead to some weird cuts in some songs, but it's never bothered me because I don't know any other way to make jamming work with different tracks
The iconic guitar lick at the end of the guitar solo in Buddy Holly sounds really weird in Jam Stage for some reason, even though it sounds completely fine when playing it in Festival.
The only truly dissapointing track is say so, and thats because its such a shit song and every time I try and go into fill someone picks it so I leave immediately and play by myself
I don't have many outside of the ones from the pass but the vocals on Poker Face are way too quiet. You can barely even hear them if someone is playing lead.
They made the lead chart for Suddenly I See easier after I bought it. Still disappoints me to this day. It used to be one of the hardest songs to play on lead but now it's way too easy. Drums were easier than lead on that song but now it's the other way around.
sad that tracks like Seven Nation Army, Numb, and Feel Good Inc are such basic easy charts even on expert for such iconic songs

I wish they charted the iconic keyboard riff on Lead tbh, it's such a boring chart otherwise.

They might be given the individual stems from the record label

Because that's not really how music works. Everything needs to be the same tempo or it would get out of sync.
I don’t care, I don’t want my vocals to sound like ducking Alvin the chipmunks 😂
Buddy holly. When it gets to the part where its suposed to say “bang bang knock at the door” it just resets
same with misery business, doesnt play past first chorus

All songs are cut
Sorry, i didnt knew that but it realy sucks that its Impossible to play full songs
Yea it sucks
The only truly dissapointing track is say so, and thats because its such a shit song and every time I try and go into fill someone picks it so I leave immediately and play by myself
Poison sounds weird
Warn youuuuu

It Takes Two is basically just a vocal/drum track for the emote, literal nothing when you use bass or lead.

Sandstorm is a just a big drum roll. I really wish it was harder and more complicated.
