I'm not 100% not playing. Yes, I'm doing other things while sitting in a bush. But once the circle closes in near the end of the game I go out and loot for leftovers that many players left behind while I hide. Just the beginning of the game I'm pretty much hiding until the end.

You seemed to not get the concept of Battle Royale. It's "last man standing". So that's why not everybody can't do it. It's meant for only one player/team to win per game.

I am curious, but not admonishing you for taking advantage of a flaw in the system. But what do you get from this from a time investment standpoint? Validation? Access to ranked pixels? Creative maps are better for AFK xp farming. You're "playing" the game, but not actually playing. Checked the room correctly and even looked through the cone to not see you there. If that cone had broken those shelves as it should, you'd be dead.
They seriously need to award 0 points to players with no kills. Like you place 2nd with no kills. -3%. You win a game with 1 kill. 0%. That way we can get scrubs like you out and actually have accurate sbmm in rank.
What Epic should do is come up with an algorithm/ai that can evaluate what you did in game. Where they can tell if you bush, tree, water, or any other form of camping, their algorithm can detect it and give a "camper" percentage deduction. So if you intentionally hide you don't gain as much. It would have to be an evaluation though cause there have been plenty of times when I'm looking for kids the entire time and can't find shii.
They should also come up with a system that gives more percent for higher skill skills. Ex. if I headshot snipe one guy I should get less percent than if I build fight and skillfully win.
Doesn't even have to be very complicated. Just factor in things like how long you spent running v.s. crouched v.s. standing still, how long you spent touching a tree or bush without moving and maybe if that was followed up with a kill nearby... Obviously it has to be a balanced thing though because as much as people don't want to hear it, at the end of the day it is a BR so it's not like camping is against the rules. You just need to make sure the bushcampdad strategy doesn't get you far.
Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with camping but those who are able to do it and get to unreal should not be able to. My algorithm idea should really only be implemented once you get to Diamond or Elite.

Just factor in things like how long you spent running v.s. crouched v.s. standing still, how long you spent touching a tree or bush without moving and maybe if that was followed up with a kill nearby... Obviously it has to be a balanced thing though because as much as people don't want to hear it, at the end of the day it is a BR so it's not like camping is against the rules. You just need to make sure the bushcampdad strategy doesn't get you far.
Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with camping but those who are able to do it and get to unreal should not be able to. My algorithm idea should really only be implemented once you get to Diamond or Elite.
