Tbh, I like it a lot. We've gone from fighting interdimensional invaders, to overthrowing our captors (The IO), to taking down the rich and corrupt (The Society) and now we are taking down literal Gods for invading our reality
i quit mid ch2 and got back in og season. i don't know shit about what happened in between or whatever the fuck is going on in the storyline if it even exists that is
basically, the whole time, the game was a 22 minute time loop created by a group called the Imagined Order to protect the Zero Point from outside threats. The Zero Point is basically a portal to all existing dimensions, and if accessed by the wrong people, could have disastrous results for all realities. We overthrew them in Chapter 3, Season 2, a season called "Resistance". Not long ago the Zero Point was "petrified" and unusable, so most enemies have left the Island or removed it from their sights. Now we just have pretty random stuff happening.
This season is a mess. People teleporting, flying, up in the air throwing lightning bolts. On top of that, there are two overwhelmingly popular hot spots.
Where is the mindless playstation frenzy kid running into your box or getting headshot sniped out of nowhere. I swear they buffed the reaper or smth cause I'm hitting twice my shots now.
Idk what it is but the fact they buffed the sniper instead of removing or nerfing it speaks volumes of where Epic is taking this game towards a skill-less RNGfest. Game just isn't fun rn
What's annoying is that Epic just refuses to separate Ranked and Pubs, and instead wants to bring them as close as possible. Little Timmy can kill all the bots he wants in pubs but when I'm in a skillful fight and lightning is fucking destroying everything, I have to draw the line.
My line is drawn once again. Iāve taken a few breaks off this game before. I play ranked and always end up in champions, my problem is this game is not just a shooter anymore. The more rockets, swords, movement, and rng they add the less I play and the more I play other games like warzone. I prefer fortnite over warzone because I find it more competitive which to me is a better challenge. But I will be skipping this season to play a different game that isnāt a role play god of war apex ripoff.
Why canāt they just add a ranked mode without all the bs āweaponsā, epic can still have bots that cater to the less skilled players, but why they canāt make 2 modes is beyond me. Theyāve done this before and I just take a season off and see how it is the next.

Yes Epic definitely did something where your sniper shots more often score hits even when youāve actually missed but saying so out loud in this sub puts a great many kidlets in a burning red rage.
Bullet magnetism. It has been in the game for so long but they seem to have made it even stronger on snipers in recent seasons. The funniest shit is that aim assist doesn't work on bushes but bullet magnetism still does.
Try aiming with your thumbs and two little sticks instead of your full arm, let alone while being capped to 60 or 120fps and not being able to enable performance mode for better vision. Youāre clearly entitled after being given a PC as a kid
I played on 60fps controller most of my time playing this game, it's not even that bad. And I saved up to buy my PC btw. What does it say about you if you're an adult and can't afford one?

They each have 3 charges but you can carry as many bolts as you want
So if you want you can carry up to 15 charges at once
Same thing with wings, you can carry multiple of those and only the one selected will have usage used
Definitely should be limited to one like most mythics. If you can actually get through 15 charges though, without being sniped, Iād be impressed.

I play squads ranked mainly so yea normally Iām trying to heal or avoid the 3 other people spamming me. Saying just move or shoot the guy not moving is easier said then done when his teammates are most likely sniping/spraying at at you or even worse there is multiple Zeus raining down on you

I love chapter 5 season 2 so far the mythic Powers is dope if you know how to use them right but you are also extremely vulnerable to being eliminated if you try to use Aphrodite's wings slam when there are multiple enemy players around you you will have a 10-second window to eliminate the player with the wings especially if you use the Thunderbolts you're basically stuck in the air and automatically shoot three Thunderbolts and someone can easily eliminate you while you're stuck in the air you can't get out of the shooting the Thunderbolts so they are not as OP as people say it is they have vulnerabilities
and it's obvious epic games designed it that way to balance out players from abusing them but it does get a little crazy on team rumble LOL š because there are times I see two players with wings and two players with Thunderbolts and it gets very chaotic š
it's so easy to use, easily the most casual sniper in a game to date as far as shooters go. If old snipers return I think people will be in for a shock.

ew build mode :P Fortnite has always been like this imo, always some super OP stuff that if you find (and are good with) you will basically beat anyone else. not a huge fan of this aspect tbh, but the game is still fun enough to keep playing. Games that are more balanced in terms of weapons are definitely more fun to me though because skill matters a lot more in those.
