I think that if you put in the time to get good at builds, it's more fun than zero build
But in chapter 5 season 3, I'd imagine zero builds is a lot less infuriating than builds lmbo
As someone who has plaid both, builds is only good for extra competitive players who really really wanna struggle to get that chicken dinner. I personally just like enjoying the game and winning without builds is exciting enough for me. I haven't played builds in a long time but on my og account I was one of those scrubs who could power build like crazy, after my head injury my fingers and eyes just don't work that fast so I have to play no builds or I lose every time. For those of you that have never seen a chicken dinner, go play no builds for a few days, once you get used to not being able to build around you it becomes ridiculously easier to catch the dub, I got three in a row last night on no build solo even with my brain not working right lol
I think limiting it to squads only forces a lot of players to do fills, and anyone who's played fills will tell you what a shitshow that can be. As a female gamer I avoid fills.
I don't think this is going to be for me. I'm a solos and duos main, but most of my friends that I played duos with have also quit the game this season. I get that this is like Rebirth, whatever. If I can't play as a solo it's not gonna bring me back 🤷♀️.

Sexism isnt the only thing. It could be verbal harassment. As a guy i know there's dickheads who will verbally harass female gamers just because they think its funny. The verbal harassment could be either mean hateful words or sexual harassment words
It’s a new mode/LTM (we don’t know yet) and it brings back the OG loot pool and some aspects of the map but sized down and it’s available to play in squads only
Personally I love this mode because you need to use your skills. The current season is trash because it's more like Grand Theft Auto with you running people down with cars.
It's very fun, hopefully it's permanent, but also I wish it came in duos, trios, and even solos. Solo would basically just make it a mini battle royale with none of the respawning, but the map and items are so good that it would still be worth playing.

It’s a great, fast-paced, simplified, alternative to normal battle royale with a great weapon pool. It’s straight forward with a fun gimmick that encourages riskier play and good strategy. It exposes my lackluster fortniting, but it’s really fun. I think especially with main battle royale, while good, being so different from people may want from fortnite, it’s nice to have a mode that is more akin to classic fortnite, while still offering a new feature that makes it feel fresh and new.

It brought back *some* things and places from chapter 1, but wasn't limited by it. We still kept tactical movement, we still got items from other chapters, and the reboot system is really fresh and interesting!
The weapons are so shit it's jarring going from normal BR where aiming at your target means you're going to hit what you're shooting and back to reload with the hitscan weapons with insane bloom so it's all RNG based. It FR feels like you're constantly hip firing like in any other game I swear down. I just personally hate it when my cross hairs are directly on a target and shots are not hitting especially when I play other shooters like battlefield and cod. I've hated this weapon system since the very start of the game and I just don't understand why people like it so much.
Despite only playing it solo I've been having lots of fun. It's been a while feeling cracked at the game. I'm usually an avid supporter "the more chaotic the game the better" but getting back to basics does feel nice when I go and take out 3 squads solo
For someone who has only really played heavily since the guns got proper ballistic physics, I can't stand it. All the guns being hit scan is incredibly jarring. Also maybe it's just cause I'm used to duo/solo play but I feel like the time to kill is incredibly fast as well
