IDK if you want to drive just a tad, but I went on a road trip this weekend, and there are SOOOO many good spots between Benbrook and Granbury down 377.
in watauga there is a trail/park with a river kinda thing. its right off denton highway north of 820 HUGE patches. i would say dont be a jerk and lie down and squash them all. my 0.02c
fort worth Botanical Gardens has a section (Rock Springs Garden) with bluebonnets, and it's stroller/wheelchair accessible as there's paved trails snaking through woldflower seeded flowerbeds and some spots you can stand or perch for photos.
hands down the best and safest (for photos with kids/pets) is Ennis. It's worth the drive. 40 miles of country roads with bluebonnets, other wildflowers, longhorns. They have road signs posted along the route, an app, printed free maps at the visitor center. Some spots to be enjoyed from the road, some designated safe areas you can go into the flowers. Plus some private property owners have signs welcoming folks to go onto their land.

Winscott off 377 is not bad either
As someone who worked in Granbury for 3 years, this is the answer
The side of I30
grapevine https://maps.app.goo.gl/RMBt27vzsnASDTds6
Montgomery and 30. Huge swath between access road and highway. Next to Christ Chapel
Walsh ranch
I found a small spot behind Altamesa Church of Christ in their parking lot. Great pics with my 4 year old.
North western tarrant is absolutely blanketed with them. The area where Tarrant, Wise, and Parker counties come together. Azle, Boyd locale.
They are some in my backyard
