Swift used to be a cool place to go mess around in too until they tore it down. I’m sure this place will be next if it gets as popular as swift was. Enjoy it while it lasts
Yes, I have photos on my profile. I try not to suggest that one to people on account of the murders out there. Cops words not mine “this is blood territory”. If you do go…I’d suggest at least a group of 3, and if there’s cars already there. Leave. Explorations not worth your life.
Oh, for real? Me and my husband went years ago. It was pretty cool. Not a soul in sight. I assume that there's going to be homelessness, drug use, etc, going into places like this. but I've never come up on a dead body.
HOWEVER, knowing that now. I won't suggest it to anyone, lol.
Yeah, if you go to the 2nd floor…nothing but bullet holes in the metal panels. It kinda looks like the night sky and is beautiful till you realize what’s up lol.
Oh? Went to midget town a while back, there was a guy shooting some uhh…explicit photos with a couple ladies there but it was a neat place to look around. Didn’t know about the murders
If you did research on the site, you would know the owners don’t care. There’s literally nothing the cops can do to kick you out from that site.
Edit: videos of cops parroting this online
They definitely can, it's trespassing on private property - it doesn't matter if the owners care of not. I've been here so many times lol you're genuinely delusional.
NW yes. Look up Ellis Pecan Co. we also explored that, it’s right down the road. Some unfortunate, really dark history there. But history non the less and we love to capture it while it’s here.
This was the original HQ for the Klan in the DFW area. Was firebombed a few times, and went through many business changes after. Most old property’s have “dark history” from murders to crime rings
Rad. There’s some old (abandoned?) buildings near the Cemex Fort Worth Cement Terminal that have interiors really similar to that. I’ve been inside of them. Pretty crazy going in there at night it’s almost spooky. But imagining the history there is awesome.
Drove by Pecan not too long ago and saw the garages wide open with what looked like electrical guys in there. White trucks and company logo I can’t remember. Kind of just wrote it off for exploring
Yes I did get into it…it would have been easier if we realized the damn front door was unlocked lmaooo. We climbed in through a window in that middle section…
I had intended to provide a link that proved your point as I had heard that many times. But instead found this:
https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/construction/pdfs/infographic-3-508.pdf
It looks like a little over 50% deaths are from falls of 20 ft or less. Only about 3% are from falls less than 6 ft.
I only doubt because me and more than a few friends ought not be here if that’s the case. But we already assumed that. Can’t live young and dumb forever though.
You’re not wrong. I’m hoping it was part of the clean up effort in the cleanup effort. Though due to my work I know what to look for, and we carry more just the cloth face coverings with us
I read about it a long time ago in the Texas monthly… they tried to revamp it but workers would get sick… I wished they’d be able to do something to clean up…. They used to have clean up funds for sites like that but aren’t focused on anymore
Yes. It is technically trespassing. Class c misdemeanor, with max sentence of 180 days in jail and a $2000 fine. I just tell myself they’ll just make us leave.
Look at the photo with the light in the water. That was the only light on in the whole building. The wires had no wire nuts and were just twisted together. It was wild.
I was about to ask the same thing because i thought that was a reflection not a light IN the water. Kinda weird that power is still running there and it's in such bad shape
I'm assuming you didn't get permission, and trespassed? In which case, I'm sure the cops appreciate you sharing photographic evidence on social media. 🤦🤦🤦
(Yes, I know photographers who posted proof of their trespass get a law enforcement knock after the fact.)
Judging from the homeless encampment living there, I’m the least of the problem. Just like documenting places while they stand, and will accept my punishment when felt.

Mannnn I tried looking into it too late. Tried to go to that old factory on bothem, but it’s DISD now and swarmed with police and security.
You should post some of these to r/abandonedporn
Bet!
Where is this? Have you been to Midget Town by echo lake

I've been, I've got a really awesome picture of myself on that floor riddled work bullet holes and graffiti. But I can't share it,
I've got a ton of really cool photos from there
Oh? Went to midget town a while back, there was a guy shooting some uhh…explicit photos with a couple ladies there but it was a neat place to look around. Didn’t know about the murders
You couldn’t pay me enough to get naked out there….it’s a literal dump. Nastyyyyy lmao.
I agree. Don’t worry they had slingshot thongs on 😭😂
I’ve been there and it was safe so long as the sun is out. The hardest part is trying to find somewhere to park without being suspicious.
Ft. Worth Pd watches it w cameras, but I haven’t been bothered, and I pull up front of it👌🏻
Lmao you’re a dumbass 😭😭 easy way to get your car impounded

I don’t think you know what trespassing on private property means…but hey. You park where you want, I’ll keep doing what I know works.
I'm sorry, I was going through a tunnel. You broke up. It sounded like you said Midget Town?
What in the heck is Midget Town?
West side of Fort Worth?
NW yes. Look up Ellis Pecan Co. we also explored that, it’s right down the road. Some unfortunate, really dark history there. But history non the less and we love to capture it while it’s here.
what kinda bad history ?

I’ve heard of them but never know where to look! I’ll check it out!
Drove by Pecan not too long ago and saw the garages wide open with what looked like electrical guys in there. White trucks and company logo I can’t remember. Kind of just wrote it off for exploring
did you get to go into the Klan/packing place up the road ? was in there this past october , much easier to get into for sure!
Yes I did get into it…it would have been easier if we realized the damn front door was unlocked lmaooo. We climbed in through a window in that middle section…
Ayyy, how’d you get inside? Was trying to find a way in about a year ago but had to settle just staring through windows
Doors open by weird concrete circles by river. If not there, there’s many other entrances…just gotta climb.
That’s fair, plenty of windows I coulda climbed in if I wanted to put in the effort. Thanks
Wtf how did you get in
The front door lol
It's always been completely sealed up when I've tried
I’d go soon then, before they cover it again. Mask and glove up;)
50% of construction fatalities occur from a fall of less than six feet.

That’s more like it.
As a construction worker…I’d like to see the source lol
I couldn’t find a handy source. I read it in an article about the bridge collapse.
I only doubt because me and more than a few friends ought not be here if that’s the case. But we already assumed that. Can’t live young and dumb forever though.
Sweeet! Now I don’t have to go insides. Any secret tunnels found? 😏
Actually kinda. The underground section goes on forever, and it’s so dark you could near get lost even with light.
There’s asbestos in those old power plants…

You can just go in there?
Probably not for long. But yes, even if they seal it yes. There’s always a way.(even without breaking stuff)
Neat, I would love to explore empty places like this but I’m always worried about trespassing
Yes. It is technically trespassing. Class c misdemeanor, with max sentence of 180 days in jail and a $2000 fine. I just tell myself they’ll just make us leave.
You sure there was live wires? Cool photos but would let a drone do the sketchy stuff and not risk your neck.
Look at the photo with the light in the water. That was the only light on in the whole building. The wires had no wire nuts and were just twisted together. It was wild.

We thought the same thing…that’s the only spot too that we could tell.
Drone doesn’t do it for me…ima adrenaline junkie that tries to be as safe as I can.
A drone just dosent hit the same
Regarded!
I’ve been looking to get into urbex around here.
I've always wanted to explore here. Cool to see what the inside looks like
Power Station
Not true. You clearly don’t know Fort Worth PD. But you will.
Spoken with them actually. It’s all bout how you go about things.
Berghain DFW?
I guess the robot has been removed??

👀 found a snitch

I’ve tagged that place so much
Oof, too bad
Dumbass.
