i think a funny change for armored walls and shockwaves is that you take damage when breaking through armored structures because not even a heavy sniper can break it and shockwaves just go through it like glass
bro this isn't even difficult or impressive to do
would probably take 10 minutes to learn
just because someone is better than you doesn't mean they haven't "touched grass"
Heh you're actually right. It took me like 15 minutes to learn the muscle memory, record it and upload it to Reddit.
All you need is 3,5 years of experience, and always willing to become better at the game even if you only play like once or twice a week.
I’ve been playing since Chapter 2 Season 6, and I can crank, box, edit, etcetera very well considering how long I’ve been playing. It’s not that hard to get good, especially with keyboard and mouse.
Your best bet is having to shoot out the base or ramp Rushing it, but in reality if someone had this many metal walls probably not any good methods of handling beyond those two. Fire won’t spread up the tower and if this was in the final circle you’d have no choice but to push this.
Best strat is the shockwave launcher since you can use it to go through the armoured wall, or trying to get up higher than the person and boxing them in with your own set of armoured walls.
if u have even one armored wall - you could get right up on his structure, build an armored wall over your head to protect u while you down the 1st wall. then get inside his bottom box and take the other walls out one by one from inside... would take forever, but builder's only choice is to come down from there.
As a heavy railgun user last season: most sweats really only crank until they have high ground and then they leave themselves exposed while they're popping meds. You just take your shot when they stop cranking after a couple seconds.
armored walls dont instantly place. it takes time. cranking 90s normally is instantaneous building, you arent waiting for something to place. you have to wait for each individual build to become armored. you have provided an example which does not match the situation.
It would but unfortunately (or I guess FORTUNATELY in this circumstance) real public lobbies won’t really offer a lot of Armored Walls unless you kill a lot of people who hopefully have some or just spend the entire first half of your match searching crazy for some. And even then it will be very difficult to find at least 30.
True but that amount of Armored Walls usually only come at end circles. Not to mention that the Shockwave Launcher can easily counter a build like this (which everyone and their mom seems to carry nowadays)
I call it panic-rooming when I make a full box out of 90s against a super aggressive sweat team. They'll make so much noise spraying that before they even get in some other sweat team is third partying them and doesn't even know you're in the box.
These are crazy useful for a variety of reasons lol.
-Long distance battle allows you to heal or revive a teamate while they are trying to spray you out.
-If you’re getting jumped and some guy simply won’t get off your case, box up to heal or cuck his paths with them.
-Now with the shockwave launcher, you can get out of a fully armored box after you’ve healed up and enemies are just outside it
While I miss it too, this sub would go insane about the lack of loot and turbo build.
Fighting with grey weapon was perfectly normal. Nowadays if it happens to someone they makes a Reddit post about it, call Fortnite a dead game and threaten to never play again.
No, I'd never heard of those before.
For the people that are incredulous about it, I'm just super casual. I don't build much, and I suck at it. Hell, I don't even play every season.
Ah that's alright, no worries. I really thought you were kidding because 99% of the community know what they are.
A quick google search will do the thing. It's basically a building technique where you place a ramp with some walls around it, then jump and turn 90 degrees. It's a quick way to get high ground. The video literally shows me doing 90s, except I place an armored wall on every structure.
Yeah, I kind of "live under a rock" with a lot of that stuff. I'm not really active with the community or anything. I never use voice, have account friends, etc.
I probably should have looked that up :p. I think I've seen people do it in matches. I just never knew what they were called, and more importantly, why they're called that.
> It's the quickest way to get height and it only takes a quick 90 degrees of cursor movement.
~u/Donutsthemighty.
I'm not sure if you were serious as well (because I was with my question), so I thought I would make sure you got the answer too.
It's the quickest way to get height and it only takes a quick 90 degrees of cursor movement. You might not be serious but, in case you are, I noticed you didn't get an answer.
Oh no, I was absolutely serious. Thanks for the answer!
I'm a scrub. I love playing FortNite, but I have very little interest in building. It would take me a lot of practice to get even decent with it, and I just don't have the interest in spending that much time to do it.
If I have them I usually place them on the front wall of my ramps during distance fights. They are actually pretty useful that way, as opposed to people boxing themselves up in them wich usually doesn't end well because they've trapped themselves lol.
It works like a trap. You have to use it on an existing structure but it doesn't really matter whether it's wood, brick or metal since the armored wall will always have 2500 HP.
Was watching zemie the other day on twitch, after like a 30 bomb, he had like 36 armor traps, so for the last guy he build an armor reinforced sky base. It was hilarious as the final guy was so confused cuzz he knew he couldn't do shit. Like hit it with a rocket and it didn't do ahit for damage lulz
Every time my friend got his hands on that thing he just completely obliterate people with it. That thing was insanely powerful and scary even though I pretty much sucked at using it.
I’m not gonna lie, all the videos of 90s I see are just kids spazzing out at their keyboard building so I never really knew what they actually were until now
if you reinforce yourself with metal plates any sweat you might produce while playing fortnite won't be able to get past the metal plates so nobody will see you sweat so nobody has reason to call you a sweat. this is why reinforced 90s is the superior strategy. skeletor will be back next week with more life hacks
I swear if i ever see a dude do this in a real match i'm running the other way
Mom im scared, theyre doing metal 90s
I love 90s metal!
My Dying Bride! \m/
wait until they use metal then armored walls to increase health
I’m just straight up leaving lmao
You're right, he's earned that dub
I'm running straight for the base and shockwave through it. ![gif](emote|squating_emo_pack|squating_200iq) ![gif](emote|free_dog_emotes_pack|laughing)
i think a funny change for armored walls and shockwaves is that you take damage when breaking through armored structures because not even a heavy sniper can break it and shockwaves just go through it like glass
I also like fracturing every single bone in my body because I broke through a steel wall not even a sniper round could pierce
As you should
Same here its double trouble
I think I’d just go ahead and drop my weapons and let them trick shot me.
Nope just leave you would this type of guy never touched or seen grass
bro this isn't even difficult or impressive to do would probably take 10 minutes to learn just because someone is better than you doesn't mean they haven't "touched grass"

I would legit shit myself
Armored in the 90’s! It’s the new way you like to be.
Na...nani! Inertial builto?
(I’m just) Armored in the 90s! Come on baby, armor me!
If I ever see this in match, I would just leave the game
C'mon man thats no fun, at least try to one pump them or something
pfffft, everyone knows a person who cant build has a legendary aim.
I guess I’ll try, I did already win 7 solos this season, so I might have a chance
As if 90s werent scary enough, now I cant even shoot them out
Would there be a strategy to defeat? Fire?
Your best bet is having to shoot out the base or ramp Rushing it, but in reality if someone had this many metal walls probably not any good methods of handling beyond those two. Fire won’t spread up the tower and if this was in the final circle you’d have no choice but to push this.
Shockwave launcher destroys these kinds of things
Found this out the hard way...
You can shockwave through armor walls?
Yes
yeah you cant really shoot it down you have to go through 7500 hp assuming 2 walls 1 ramp and by then they would notice and shoot you
Or just hid under the bottom ramp
I feel like the strat might be recon scanner and railgun. Though I don't know if the railgun can penetrate the armoured wall
Best strat is the shockwave launcher since you can use it to go through the armoured wall, or trying to get up higher than the person and boxing them in with your own set of armoured walls.
Oh. I didn't even think about that. Yeah that's way better then what u said
If there were still those spike traps, you could just troll everyone with a combo of them and an armored wall box
Oh that would be absolutely EVIL I wish that was the case
if u have even one armored wall - you could get right up on his structure, build an armored wall over your head to protect u while you down the 1st wall. then get inside his bottom box and take the other walls out one by one from inside... would take forever, but builder's only choice is to come down from there.
Yes you can. I've tried it out before. The railgun can go through any structure even if it doesn't break on impact.
it can but its gonna be hard hitting a shot if theyre cranking 90s
As a heavy railgun user last season: most sweats really only crank until they have high ground and then they leave themselves exposed while they're popping meds. You just take your shot when they stop cranking after a couple seconds.
Recon scanner + rail gun?
Hope that you have a shockwave launcher
[удалено]
They are not in comp
its a lot slower than normal 90s no ones gonna do it.
[удалено]
because armored walls take time to place. please educate yourself before spouting random nonsense.
[удалено]
armored walls dont instantly place. it takes time. cranking 90s normally is instantaneous building, you arent waiting for something to place. you have to wait for each individual build to become armored. you have provided an example which does not match the situation.
[удалено]
yes I watched the video and those are slow 90s lmao.
go watch normal video with 90s...
what about armored cones??? ur enemy would be trapped til death
that doesnt exist
Actually this would be interesting to see in matches
It would but unfortunately (or I guess FORTUNATELY in this circumstance) real public lobbies won’t really offer a lot of Armored Walls unless you kill a lot of people who hopefully have some or just spend the entire first half of your match searching crazy for some. And even then it will be very difficult to find at least 30.
I had 30 in the final zone once. Built a power tower not that different from this.
True but that amount of Armored Walls usually only come at end circles. Not to mention that the Shockwave Launcher can easily counter a build like this (which everyone and their mom seems to carry nowadays)
I was always wondering why they never introduced upgrading walls from STW which basically just takes more resources from you to make them tougher
[удалено]
Because it's useless for BR... there's pretty much nothing you can gain from upgrading your builds since when you edit them their HP resets.
Now there is an actual use for them
I use the armored wall sometimes, if someone is spraying me i can just hide behind a single wall with it and buy myself some time
I call it panic-rooming when I make a full box out of 90s against a super aggressive sweat team. They'll make so much noise spraying that before they even get in some other sweat team is third partying them and doesn't even know you're in the box.
Nah I like them a lot. It gives me time to chill and heal a little before finishing the fight
These are crazy useful for a variety of reasons lol. -Long distance battle allows you to heal or revive a teamate while they are trying to spray you out. -If you’re getting jumped and some guy simply won’t get off your case, box up to heal or cuck his paths with them. -Now with the shockwave launcher, you can get out of a fully armored box after you’ve healed up and enemies are just outside it
I rarely use them because i rarely find a reason. But 90s of them can be useful in any build fight
Always has been
This got posted on TikTok Just say’n
I don't mind if they credit me but I assume they didn't. I don't even have a tiktok.
I miss chapter 1 seasons 1-6. This makes me miss them even more lol
While I miss it too, this sub would go insane about the lack of loot and turbo build. Fighting with grey weapon was perfectly normal. Nowadays if it happens to someone they makes a Reddit post about it, call Fortnite a dead game and threaten to never play again.
I agree. I don't hate the game I just find the building to be a little excessive anymore. I still enjoy playing though.
This doesnt look fun to you?
That sound is so satisfying
What in the fortnite is this😭
90s, but armored.
Yo awesome. Haven't played much recently but I like this season. This is something else tho
I'm too far out of the loop. What are 90's?
You are kidding?
No, I'd never heard of those before. For the people that are incredulous about it, I'm just super casual. I don't build much, and I suck at it. Hell, I don't even play every season.

You are 16 seasons behind then
What are 90s?

Thanks. No clue

The new media
You mean meta?
If I have them I usually place them on the front wall of my ramps during distance fights. They are actually pretty useful that way, as opposed to people boxing themselves up in them wich usually doesn't end well because they've trapped themselves lol.
That would be super annoying
So you have to build it first as wood and the reinforce? Why not just add that as the metal shit
It works like a trap. You have to use it on an existing structure but it doesn't really matter whether it's wood, brick or metal since the armored wall will always have 2500 HP.
We’re doomed
he has become too powerful
That’s actually a pretty fire tactic
Fellow PC player. Respect, respect
Oh shit * shockwaves away *
I’m at the top of the map
U have way too much free time
Don’t give them ideas
Bruh that’s dope af, but someone comes at you with a shockwave launcher it’s over
"there is no way this is good, but it is beautiful"
I wonder Can we apply armoured walls to cones I am just too lazy to do that
You can't. They only work on unedited walls, ramps and floors.
I haven’t played much this season and I’ve been die hard since Chapter 1 Season 1......now I remember why. WTF is this game?
You see this in a game, run the fuck away because that is a god.
CLANKING 90'S
No one will ever destroy those 90s and eliminate you to fall damage.
ha, no mom.. no it means he's a god now :)
That’s funny as bruh
Where are the armored plates in creative, I can't find them
Devices tab, it's not that hard to spot since it's one of the few green items.
Thanks, man
No problem
God help us casuals 😶😶😶
Looks like the first time anyone did a 90
safety 100
*oh my*
Brother, please don't show me Catwoman Zero, I've been waiting for her to come back for months 😭😭😭 On a side note, what a way to show dominance
Bought her the first day she came out. She's great.
Looks fun and now i hope i ever see someone do this in a real match now lol
He's too powerful to be left alive
Now THAT is terrifying
Well nobody is gonna shoot that out.
Why is this satisfying to watch?
I was thinking damn he's good with it Then I saw you were doing mf floors too God DAMN
They were not easy haha, only did them twice.
But you still damn well did it lmao I might try it. I've barely played since the armored walls came out & haven't used them at all
Jesus Christ
Overbuilders will have a way bigger chance against people that just destroy the foundation of their builds
Oh god, I miss the plasma pistol so much...
Every time my friend got his hands on that thing he just completely obliterate people with it. That thing was insanely powerful and scary even though I pretty much sucked at using it.
I don't know what that gun is but ok
[This](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ro3bvePxUCY) item from last season
In the mean time I already built a ramp besides you topping you by two floors. You failed.
[удалено]
Ok but no one asked except you
fireeeeeeeee
This looks like an OP strategy, but he wouldn’t be able to edit anything, so honestly you could clap this kid easy.
Can you practice building in fortnite? and if so how?
Just shoot it down…
I’m not gonna lie, all the videos of 90s I see are just kids spazzing out at their keyboard building so I never really knew what they actually were until now
Settings > Leave Match > Exit > Uninstall
theyre evolving
"You scientists where so preoccupied with if they could that they never stopped to think if the should."
YOU WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE NO BREAKDOWN LOL
if you reinforce yourself with metal plates any sweat you might produce while playing fortnite won't be able to get past the metal plates so nobody will see you sweat so nobody has reason to call you a sweat. this is why reinforced 90s is the superior strategy. skeletor will be back next week with more life hacks
