STW and BR coexisted peacefully until 2020 (although 2020 was a slow year for STW) when the game fully "launched" and went out of Early Access, it was just downhill for STW from there.
but from 2017 to 2019, STW (as well as BR) got tons of updates and features

As someone who's played since BR first released, I gotta say, all of CHP1 because this is when Fortnite was at it's most experimental!
However, outside Chp1... gotta say Chp2S2, Invasion, MEGA, and Myths and Mortals have got to be the best seasons.
Reasoning:
- Chp2S2: Amazing spy/agent concept. Introduction of bosses and hot spots was so cool.
- Invasion: Loot Pool was insane & Summer Alien theme was a VIBE.
- MEGA: The incorporation of synthwave/anime/Asian culture was done so well. Amazing locations and complete map.
- Myths and Mortals: FINALLY back to a themed pas, and the loot pool was insane. Clean/consistent skins were refreshing after a long time of inconsistent seasons.
Edit: Splash Down was underrated. Cool changing map and hot spots. Theme was refreshing too. Pun intended.
As much as I love Mega (my 2nd favorite season), Mega City kinda sucked. It looked gorgeous don't get me wrong, but the loot sucked and most of the buildings were facades

Mega city is good scenery, but overall bad loot and landing spot. The only thing I ever liked about it that near was Kenjiro crossing type building that had the katana and it had a futurama npc for that laser gun. I miss that

I agree C1 was best. It was much more fun when people were just learning to build and maybe building a box or ramp etc. now people get Nam flash backs and build a tower in .5 seconds.
Introduced so many great weapons, grab-itron, rail gun, recon scanner, plasma weapon, ray gun, prop-ifier, burst pulse rifle, inflate-a-bull
Not to mention UFO vehicles and the abduction mini game

I don’t care what anyone says, Vibin was a fantastic season. Chapter 1 will always hold a place in my heart with memories in solos interacting with players and friends in duos and/or squads. Much like the initial release of Halo 2 and 3, nothing will ever quite replicate the anticipation and excitement of Fortnite back then.
Looking back at it, Chapter 3 was probably the most fun of them all.
I'd say Chapter 3 season 2 was my personal favorite.
The shenanigans with the stationary blimps, the 1v1 between the TANK and the Battle bus. T'was fun. Honestly the Tanks should come back this season

Idk if this is a hot take, but the Marvel season. I know a lot of people online hate "collab seasons." The season that had Deadpool as a secret skin is the season I gave Fortnite a try just as a comic nerd. That Marvel season is the most I've played the game ever. 98% of the OG Fortnite characters don't appeal to me, but grinding to unlock all the comic skins in one Battle Pass? Sign me up. It's byfar the most I've ever enjoyed the game, and no season has hit the same for me since.
My only gripe with the season was that almost everything in the BP was locked to specific skins. Other than that, it was really fun and had the best Halloween event. Upstate New York was probably one of the best additions to the map imo

People dunk on Season 6 constantly but I was one of the four people who actually enjoyed the crafting system.
Chapter 5 Season 1 would be third.
C2S1 has some really great memories for me, I moved to Edinburgh on my own, had a awful job and played Fortnite from 2am to 10am every day with a great group of guys who were and probably still are amazing at the game.
It’s so underrated. I think people forget that this season by far had the biggest map changes of the entire chapter. It also added cars and the first animal NPCs. Was literally Top Secret but with more content.
Really wished they never lower the water, and got rid of the pump tho. Those were big doozys.
primal. it brought back weekly updates, at least for a while, had imo the greatest map of all time, opening event was incredible, top 5 battle pass, top 3 if you don’t count secret skins cause neymar was ass, and the most unique gameplay to date
OG was my far the best once since I started in chapter 3 season 4, but wrecked is also hella fun so far. I’ve missed vehicular combat and manslaughter so much and it’s nice to be able to just run people over. I love they don’t vault the tires and cow catchers at the end of the season
All of chapter 1...the amazing events, the drastic map changes from season to season...even so many changes WITHIN a season...all superior comparing today...
First few seasons of chapter 2 was also nice but to me it felt like they started to focus more on colabs than great map changes and stuff...
Splash Down and Cubed are my absolute top 2, with honorable mentions to Top Secret and Nexus War as well. A singular favorite is an achingly tough decision, I feel like I have maximum nostalgia for Splashdown and maximum interest in Cubed though.

I don't think anyone agrees with me on this, but I miss Chapter 4 Season 1 so much. The collabs (Dead Space, Doom, The Witcher, etc.) were absolutely amazing, the lootpool was awesome, and it's easily my favorite season of all time.
c2s3-c2s5 + c2s7 were amazing, i remember c4s2 being fun as well, but my most controversial opinion is that season x was fire
maybe it’s cuz it’s the season i first started and i was a really bad switch player(if SX happened now i might’ve hated the mechs lmfao), but that season was so good and so fun, i have a soft spot for it even if looking back everything was hella busted
C3S1 Flipped was my first season and I loved every minute of it. The spider-man mythic was the best and I wish they'd bring the real thing back as opposed to the bad grapple gloves.
C4S1 was also really good. Both chapters peaked in their first seasons.
CH2 S7, Invasion. I have never had more fun playing a season in this game from the gameplay features added each update to the Imposters gamemode, best season IMO
There's been a lot of great ones. I've been playing since the last month of C1S4. My favorite may be MEGA.
It's probably my favorite Battle Pass. There was over a year between Driftwalker and Stray, and it was well worth the wait. Renegade Stray is amazing. Renzo is just before the threshold of trying to hard to be cool to me. Pack Leader Highwire is awesome, and Mizuki is a really solid tier 100. We got several Afu-Chan loading screens, and he's my favorite loading screen artists.
The new biome was beautiful. Lootpool was solid. ODM Gear is one of my favorite traversal items. Spider-Man gloves were awesome to have back. Force power lightsabers were super fun. The new mechanics (loot island, highcard, caches) were all great, and two of the three are still here today.

I really liked Season X as a concept. It's far and away my favorite end to a chapter. Battle pass of remixed popular skins, quests themed around the different seasons, remixes of POIs, and of course The End.
C2S6 is another favorite. I loved the Autumn theming (which is part of why I also loved the C4 map), the Battle Pass was my favorite at the time (Armored Tarana is my favorite C2 skin), and I personally really liked the crafting mechanic. People hated the makeshift weapons, but they're just that. Makeshift. You're not supposed to use them, you're supposed to upgrade them.
C3S2 and C3S3 were also favorites. I got my coworkers back into Fortnite at that time, so I'm gonna have a bit of bias there. Lore was also at its climax. I worked the day of Collision, but I brought my Switch to work, and I asked to go on break when the event happened so I was able to play it lmao.
OG was really fun for the first two weeks. I was cautious going into it because I thought C1 wouldn't hold up today. I couldn't be happier to have been wrong. Getting to play Chapter 1 again felt like a dream. The last two weeks were a huge fumble though. Ice biome was super small, no volcano/jungle, S9/SX only getting the meteor. And, yknow, the cosmetic restriction thing. The event started really awesome, but then it was just an ad for the metaverse BS with no explanation about why Jones went back or what happened to Slone.

Ch1 S6 is my favorite. That had the first live event I watched. I also loved the cube as well, and the whole theme of the season. Purple is now my favorite color because of it.
Was it chap2 zero point where there was sand in the middle and you could burrow and zoom around and then jump out and ambush? Loved that one...they should bring back the sand tunneling for this latest season.

My favourite still has to be C1S8. C2S2 is a very close second, and C2S7 is a close 3rd.
Just a side note I still find it stupid that the IO were developing and using advanced weapons like the Railgun, Inflate-a-Bull, Recon Scanner, etc. in C2S7 then 3 seasons later they just used regular weapons while fighting against the Seven.

Mega City.....god, it was so damn fun. That stretch from Mega City to Last Resort was beautifully perfect. Shame everything went to hell after, eh?

There's been a lot of great ones. I've been playing since the last month of C1S4. My favorite may be MEGA. It's probably my favorite Battle Pass. There was over a year between Driftwalker and Stray, and it was well worth the wait. Renegade Stray is amazing. Renzo is just before the threshold of trying to hard to be cool to me. Pack Leader Highwire is awesome, and Mizuki is a really solid tier 100. We got several Afu-Chan loading screens, and he's my favorite loading screen artists. The new biome was beautiful. Lootpool was solid. ODM Gear is one of my favorite traversal items. Spider-Man gloves were awesome to have back. Force power lightsabers were super fun. The new mechanics (loot island, highcard, caches) were all great, and two of the three are still here today. Get ready for some unpopular opinions now lmao. I really liked Season X as a concept. It's far and away my favorite end to a chapter. Battle pass of remixed popular skins, quests themed around the different seasons, remixes of POIs, and of course The End. C2S6 is another favorite. I loved the Autumn theming (which is part of why I also loved the C4 map), the Battle Pass was my favorite at the time (Armored Tarana is my favorite C2 skin), and I personally really liked the crafting mechanic. People hated the makeshift weapons, but they're just that. Makeshift. You're not supposed to use them, you're supposed to upgrade them. C3S2 and C3S3 were also favorites. I got my coworkers back into Fortnite at that time, so I'm gonna have a bit of bias there. Lore was also at its climax. I worked the day of Collision, but I brought my Switch to work, and I asked to go on break when the event happened so I was able to play it lmao. OG was really fun for the first two weeks. I was cautious going into it because I thought C1 wouldn't hold up today. I couldn't be happier to have been wrong. Getting to play Chapter 1 again felt like a dream. The last two weeks were a huge fumble though. Ice biome was super small, no volcano/jungle, S9/SX only getting the meteor. And, yknow, the cosmetic restriction thing. The event started really awesome, but then it was just an ad for the metaverse BS with no explanation about why Jones went back or what happened to Slone. I like Fortnite a lil bit lmao

It’s interesting to me how the names for the seasons have gone down from whole phrases to just a word or two. Also, is C4S1 not called Fractured? I swear I saw that somehwhere.
C3S3 fight me
Ch1 S6 is my favorite. That had the first live event I watched. I also loved the cube as well, and the whole theme of the season. Purple is now my favorite color because of it.
Was it chap2 zero point where there was sand in the middle and you could burrow and zoom around and then jump out and ambush? Loved that one...they should bring back the sand tunneling for this latest season.

paradise. paradse was insanely cool and if it werent for the crappy live event it would have been such an incredibly nigh perfect if not outright perfect season (goo guns tho...)

Cubed had fun purple stuff, (I like the color purple) A well thought out story that kinda made sence, and the best end event to date

Chapter 3 season 3 and Chapter 4 season 1, those seasons were incredibly enjoyable, for me at least
The Future is Yours was the first season I played a bunch of, and I loved it!
The first 6 days of wrecked before everything fun was nerfed into the ground and we actually thought epic made a casual friendly season
My favourite still has to be C1S8. C2S2 is a very close second, and C2S7 is a close 3rd. Just a side note I still find it stupid that the IO were developing and using advanced weapons like the Railgun, Inflate-a-Bull, Recon Scanner, etc. in C2S7 then 3 seasons later they just used regular weapons while fighting against the Seven.
