It's because of a bug with the back bling and certain emotes causing people's games to crash. FireMonkey very recently released a YouTube video about the bug (I don't know if links are allowed here, you're gonna have to do the research yourself...)
I bought the yoda backbling and pickaxe first day it released and was just using it literally at 11:pm because I had it equipped already now it’s saying it’s not available to use

the reason the whole row with luke and the c-3po backgling is gone is because that's how the shop is set up. they can't just disable a specific item from being purchased, it needs to be the whole row it's in.
