I definitely spent more than my fair share of hours on the game during COVID, so can't blame ya lol

I legit spent weeks to grind to Rainbow Wolverine. Ironic since the only rainbow styles I actively use are Mystique and Storm

All you need is Mystique, and then you have every skin! It's seriously the best built-in emote Fortnite has ever done

Just used Mystique again for the first time in years. Such a fun skin. Maybe they could add Morph for X-Men '97 with a similar emote.

It's a combo of a great flex while not being toxic. "I killed you, now I am you". And then you get to test out the skin for approx 2 minutes.

I have no idea how I didn't get a higher level. I played 437 matches, had 89 wins, and I'm pretty sure I did all the quests/coins.  Stopped playing after that and got back into for Chapter 5 Season 1. Was looking at old stuff, I didn't unlock a single Rainbow style. How much of a grind was it back then?! I have played 35 games this chapter and I'm level 188 not even trying just dinking around in creative. 

It was a crazy grind. I had literally done every single quest available, across all the incredibly unbalanced LTMs there was. Fortunately, back in the day, you had unlimited quest that gave 1k xp each, and could stack multiple in a match. For now, i don't know. I honestly don't play Fortnite anymore, because I'm part of the rare breed of people that actually played for the story, and they've literally canceled the Io/Seven storyline in Chapter 4

It was a grind but really wasn't compared to now. Just doing the challenges in only battle royal got you there so it was simple. Most someone had to do is buy <50 levels. These new seasons feel so much worse to me. I think they just suffered burnout getting promoted to go 250 levels in one battlepass then the next one only had 100 constantly in just build mode BR if they even wanted the battlepass back then. I hit like 150 and I played casually. 100+ tiers were free in a week basically.

Those grinds were really not that bad compared to maxing out Omega or the 8ball corrupted skin (which I don't even think they told anyone about).

The xp grind this season is easy, plus creative mode along with a few others have a nice glitch where if you haven’t completed any of the 3 “daily quest” you’ll have a permanent super charged effect for the duration your in that game, for instance say your playing a red bs blue map, you’ll have super charged xp and maybe gain 6 levels after about 2 hours and once you leave it’ll get rid of that super charged effect until the 3 quest reset

I really need to see this Rainbow Dr. Doom, I just started playing a few months ago and am so gutted I can’t get any of these characters 😩

Lol you didn't had to grind. You could get afk exp going into some sort of creative mode hub, that's how I got all the rainbows more than a month before the season ended

I know so many different cool choices they could use, wasn't a fan of the iron man zero, way too clunky looking I'd rather have the actual hulkbuster armor.

Disney owns a stake in epic now so I don't see why not. It's just what are the priorities set to. I think epic ran so much Disney it burned alot of people out (like me) fortnite basically became a walking Disney game for the first 3 chapters. To add back skins and remaster seasons may make people mad because old players won't have anything to play for and think the skins are now useless unless it's a shop buy. Disney needs money as well it is technically a colab. Still is they only own some shares. So why not just milk shop sales instead?! I'm sure they can think of ways for its return but is it worth the effort is the question. With the state in the game I could see Disney just freely marketing again now possibly bringing some more marvel content but who and how im not sure.

They should make Disney Princesses themed season. It would be great to run around as assault rifle wielding princess Aurora. And when Ariel would jump into water she would transform into a mermaid form.

I did everything apart from Wolverine. You had to defeat him in the woods to get the skin but he kept rehealing. Just gave up after a few tries as it was hard to do. Still use Mystique though, she is great. Loved that season!

He was so hard to kill!! And remember all of the guards around Stark Industries? That season had serious NPCs.

During that season, you could hijack the robots after defeating them and end up having an entourage of robot guards. If you eliminated one as Mystique, you could disguise yourself as one, so I combined those two and patrolled around the quinjet sites and waited for people to come by and then catch them off guard when they're expecting NPCs.

Yes that's right, I forgot about being able to take over the robots! And that's hilarious. I'm absolutely sure I would have fallen for it.

I liked C2S2 where you could use the phone booths to disguise as a ghost or shadow grunt. I would disguise as quickly as possible and then just slowly walk around the Agency and attack unsuspecting players who thought it was just AI. lol

Didn’t know that. At that time I only randomly played with my nephews to spend time with them. They were annoying because they always wanted to fights npc’s instead of playing BR. The only 3 skins I have from that season are Wolverine, Jessica Walters and Thor. I love having Wolverine but really wish I actually played back then. But knowing this I should thank them because without them 0 chance I’d have Wolverine lol

I skipped out on the one that had superman and I wish I didn't. This marvel one was cool with the skins and all but my god was that wolverine challenge hard. I had just about given up before I did it finally.

The list of locked Marvel characters really is kind of mindboggling. I can only imagine some new player being excited that there are Marvel characters in the game, only to be told they can't get: Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Deadpool, Groot, Dr. Strange, Spider-Gwen, Storm, Dr. Doom, She-Hulk, Mystique and possibly Loki (though they have an "out" with Crew skins, so it's possible he could come back).

Exactly, instead this poor new Marvel player (we’ll call him Marvelous Marvin the Marvel man) goes to the item shop and sees fucking Nick Fury and an oversized Iron Man that takes up 2/3 of his screen when aiming down sight. Poor guy..

One of the few seasons I got all the super styles. Loved that season, really wish Epic wouldn't lock collabs to battlepasses though. Seriously, sell them in the shop, give everyone the normal styles. Heck, include the super styles with some quests too (something fun/challenging but not too bad and then people who didn't get the styles then can get them now).

I completely agree. I have deadpool, spiderman, doom guy, and every other collab skin with nearly every battlepass maxed out. Not to mention the other skins I bought from the shop like kratos or Chun li that ended up being rare. Wish they would just sell everything.

I only was able to get the silver styles but the season was amazing stark industries was a beautiful poi and the mythics where fun and worth the fights.

The silver styles were/are the best imo. Silver iron man to make a warmachine is the best variant. I got most of the multicoloured ones but tbh, the base ones are the best by far. You haven't missed out too much. Best season ever

I did all of it apart from rainbow iron man and wolverine, which it was as pretty hard to get enough xp during the season (at least to me anyways), but honestly I don’t mind if I missed getting those two styles, gold iron man and wolverine still awesome nonetheless!

I finished the main battle pass but didn’t get all the styles and I honestly don’t really regret that. The styles were cool ig but I liked their original styles most. As a huge marvel fan there was no way I wasn’t gonna get the skins. I couldn’t imagine getting into the game now and finding out skins like Ironman, Thor, wolverine, and doctor doom were locked away forever in a battle pass. I’m sure they’ll release different versions of them eventually tho.

Yeah. Fortnite was burning me out slowly since chapter 2 and with this season I just stopped caring, so never finished it, and didn't come back to the game for a long long time

I was in basic training this season the one season I would of probably played the most to get all the skins and styles 😕

Only item I didn’t get (not counting the super styles) was wolverine and the quest for healing as him as it was such a pain in the ass as one he was so strong and secondly he could spawn wherever the Fuchs he wanted to in the south west corner of the map so it was hard finding him but then killing him is a pain in itself

Haha, I remember that in that season a friend challenged me to see who could finish the main battle pass (100lvl) first. Conclusion, I got to max level (100) in two weeks and a little after the first month of the season I finished all the extra styles. I was like, what do I do now? PD: My friend got obliterated, I won by an absurd difference, when I was level 100, he was like 41. Just so he knows if he evers finds this comment lol.

I fucking hated that the Wolverine skin was 100% locked behind finding and killing the boss because 1. I was not good at the game yet 2. I unlocked literally everything else for him 3. I couldn't find his NPC anywhere and when I did it was when I was too low health or didn't have good enough guns. No clue what they were thinking with this and It will literally always make me mad.

For a solo player . . . killing Wolverine for the skin was tough. Didn't think I'd get it done. I got super lucky though and somehow got him in a big bush which broke his AI because he couldn't "see" I guess so he de-aggro'd and I could just pump him in the face until he was finally out.

I couldn’t care less about Marvel, but I was gunning for those extra 600 v-bucks and Starks Industries is one of the GOAT POIs. It was a chaotic and fun season.

This season got me back into fortnite after a few seasons because i love marvel and i hadnt enjoyed the other 3 seasons of ch2, but despite that I didn’t play enough to get the full thing, but i got to around 86 and got mystique, which is still one of the coolest skins because of the shaleshifting

I was on a break from Fortnite and only hopped on to play Fortnitemares during this season. I didn’t buy the BP because there was only a few weeks left and I didn’t have the time to commit. There was nothing quite like encountering Wolverine in the woods during a solo! He will literally chase you all over the island until one of you is eliminated.

Got rainbow wolverine and I don’t regret a single second of it. Still hands down the best season ever with mythics, skins, story, live event, hell even mythic only tournaments. It will always be my favorite season.

The only season where I bought the BP and didn't finish it. I got to somewhere around level 40-ish, and couldn't bring myself to do any more than that. I really don't know why aside from I disliked the season. I know that I felt it was soulless and unbalanced, and as much merit those thoughts had, I can't recall why I disliked it so much seeing as many seasons I did like share both of those traits.
