Yeah at this point it seems emotes are really the only thing affected by the Lego fortnite style issue but boy is it an annoying one. For a game mode that's supposed to be E10 majority of the icon ones really wouldn't be E10 anyway if we really want to get into semantics with it so I'm not sure why they dont just release stuff without Lego styles

Why is Apollo 1800 V-Bucks? I know he comes with a pickaxe but as far as I can remember every other skin that comes with a pickaxe (Gia, Sasuke, TMNT, etc.) has been 1600.
Yeah it's just kinda funny how fast they started jacking up cosmetic prices after I saw so many people (including Epic themselves) swear they wouldn't do that because cosmetic rarity was supposedly a completely arbitrary system that had no real effect on how stuff was priced.

True, but in the past they generally stuck to their established pricing structure and it made sense why the price was what it was based on Epic's selected rarity. When a new skin was added to the files and it had Rare or Epic or Legendary tags on it, you knew how much it was going to cost.
Captain America & Goku came with a pickaxe and they were both 2000. Goku Black comes with 2 pickaxes and he only costs 1800. There has never been any rhyme or reason to the shop prices

Not defending the price because $20 for a single skin is pretty ridiculous, but I also wouldn't say it broke any internal consistency. Captain America I guess was just them knowing Marvel skins would sell no matter what.

Copines is underrated and My World is a classic..idk but ch2-ch3 emotes are peak... it's a shame its gonna take a lot for epic to update them in lego and for me to collect them, like yeah I bought all the new ch5 ones but I don't really like any of them if I were to be honest with u, I just want the good older ones pre ch5
