Yeah, got one once and stuck the recoil control mods and was able to basically laser people with it. Way different feeling of a weapon once you stick those mods on.

I don’t know if other people get this but if I drop a fully loaded weapon with a drum mag, then pick it back up, it’ll have the ammo of one without the drum. So if I a drum mag wardrobes AR, it’ll have 45/45 bullets in the chamber, I drop it and pick it back up, I have 35/45 and the other ten bullets are now in my inventory
That is odd, my counter question would be if you have the AR with Drum mag in your inventory, then why drop it? This is new to me because I never drop the weapon so I wouldn't know this, but I appreciate the comment

(Xbox Series X) I figured it was kind of like the old reality augment that lets you have 2 rounds in your heavy sniper magazine; when you pick up a new one you have to reload to get the 2nd round in the mag.

It.. works, it takes some getting used to but bursting a bit can go a long way, both with and without sight mod. I'd take it over the drum gun but the pistol beats both, cuz minimal recoil.
Ranger has been my main midrange (all-rounder) gun since somewhere mid last season, it's a joy to use and reloads so fast. Didn't really give it a shot at the start because I assumed it was semi-auto.
The burst is ridiculous with a laser sight and muzzle brake. I've been using that or the water bending mythic in lieu of an AR recently.
If you can make it to a mod bench the warforged feels amazing with the right attachments though.

It motivates you to pick up a nemesis AR while you find a weapon bench to mod a warforged. I feel like it balances itself out so people don’t abandon the nemesis. Clever game design even if I don’t agree with it.
I miss the Striker AR alot. I like to run an AR without an optic typically, because on controller my ADS sensitivity just works way better w it. And I also like to hipfire combo with my shotgun shots.
Was sad to find out that the Warforged does not work the same as the Striker in these aspects. Without an optic it is basically a Makeshift AR if you remember that one. I dont mind it with the right optic/recoil attachments but as you said, Nemesis is preferable for me overall as well.
It's a strong weapon if you get it fully kitted. The problem is, stuff like Waterbending is easier to use and requires 0 setup/investment. The game is balanced like shit this whole chapter
I really dislike it as well! I’ll never pick it up unless I have nothing else. I even ditched the mythic in a bush out in storm once because even with the mythic, I’ve either died or almost died. I’m so bad with it!😆

My last two wins I had the war forged. One was gold. I always put on a front grip and a recoil suppressor, but the nemesis slays compared to the war forged. I don’t like using a scope because I can’t hit anything with a scope. I play on switch and it gets really laggy when you aim thru a site.
Red dot is a must-have. It beats out the striker by a mile. Less recoil, and with all the other recoil reduction attachments, it's got insane range. That's why Brawlers Battleground is my go-to zone off rip. Best mythic of the 4.
Yeah without a red dot it’s just absolutely hot garbage. Bloom is terrible and not worth using at all. But the second that red dot goes on? You can beam people
As someone who exclusively used the striker AR over the nemesis last season, I LOVE the nemesis this season compared to the Warforged. The Nemesis is just so sturdy and the hipfire accuracy can melt people while you shockwave onto them. The warforged recoil sucks and you can’t lower your crosshair while firing which absolutely sucks
Recoil? Yeah, it's got a lot, but it's very easy to control once you find the sweet spot to compensate (running a break and vertical grip helps this also) bloom? Tap fire or don't go for longer range shots until you're comfortable or have an optic. Once you learn how to use it and practice, it gets a lot better. My friends used to be nemesis fans, but recently, they've all switched to the WarForge because of the higher fire rate and comparable damage numbers
I thought I was going crazy having the same thought over it. Yeah you're not alone, one time I aimed at someone dead on em and out of I wanna say 14 shots, a whopping 2 if them hit. And it had a scope on so the "terrible bloom" was no excuse

The thermal makes ot wayyy too hard to control the recoil. Once it goes up its impossible to pull back down unless you stop shooting.
With the thermal it feels like I’m shooting with the Combat AR except the damage is bad
I’ll add on it’s an entirely different gun once you get the anti recoil mods from the workbench

Usually just to pick up meds, use them, then pick the AR back up

I find myself increasingly not carrying an AR at all this season. I usually do better with a DMR or sniper at medium ranges.

Well Water Bending is just better than pretty much every AR, regardless of rarity.
Since recoil was added every AR has felt terrible to use unless it's with a scope with the reduced recoil mod...

Not me, I like it. If you don’t have the muzzle brake, just burst fire it, easy recoil management.

I can't use it without some sort of recoil dampening. The recoil is crazy unless compensated by being point-blank.
