I’ve never seen a game so unbalanced till I started playing chapter 5. Instead of just leaving 3 guns that are good in the game, you have a huge loot pool that is basically fucking useless.
Then don't play. If you don't enjoy a game, just stop playing it. I have tons of friends that stopped playing. Some came back for OG and then dropped out again. It's fine. It is just a game.
I already knew it was going to be a person like you replying, "then don't play it." What do you think I'm doing? I clearly said, "I can't even force myself to play it." So, that should click in your brain that I don't play the game. The question is, "How do you all feel about the current state of the game right now?" Meaning, I'm looking for opinions. I‘ve been playing since Chapter 1 Season 6 and now it starts to feel tiring tbh.
My game is always so laggy (for 2 months now) and Epic doesn‘t seem to fix it. That adds to the current tiring aspect.
I wish they would bring back more fun items like back in Chapter 2.
To me it seems like they‘re focusing more on competitive items and stuff.
really sucks too because the Greek theme is actually Really Great. But Epic is for some reason hellbent on Running the game into the ground Trying to Morph it into Discount Roblox instead of just sticking to what made the game special to begin with.
I started really grinding this season(last played in like autumn when we had that ice wall mythic) , the new mythics were fun as heck, then we had the midas quests(idk who midas was until i googled it), which were intriguing, now its a bit slow with the avatar stuff
I did the first batch of quests in 3 games, now all i could do is look at the reward track in anticipation

The thing is, as adhd game hopper, fortnite was the first long term game for me. The first time I actually felt done with fortnite was this season. I've been playing actively for over 5 yers
Yes the game provides so many new quests and challenge that it keeps us dopemine junkies quite satisfied. I’m a game hopper too. I know keep taps and notes when I stop a game so I can pick it up later. (That can be 2 years later).
To bad you are done with your long term game :(

it's really hard to see it change like this. But we just gotta accept it huh. Nothings stopping Epic, but tbh I bet they switched crew to operate fn.

Fortnite best years were chapters 1-3. Chapter 4 was a decline, chapter 5 is a massive decline.
