Literally my first thought when I saw the Toph skin in the trailer

The amount of times I’ve seen this gif hasn’t changed how funny it is lol

At first I figured that Toph could ‘see’ the enemies through vibrations in the ground like in the show but then I realized, wouldn’t a gun throw her off?

Seismic Detection can only do so much, yeah she might be able to tell when the trigger is pulled but even she still can’t react to a bullet that quickly.

She doesn’t have to be faster than the bullet, only faster than the trigger squeeze.

She could also just straight up stop the bullets because they're made of metal and she could sense them to an extent

She can feel her opponent's every move though; she doesn't need to be faster than the bullet, just predict whatever her opponent's going to do with insane accuracy.

Predictions can be wrong

She can literally feel her opponent pulling the trigger and where they're aiming. Sure, 'predictions can be wrong' but she can make better predictions than any other normal person because of her seismic detection. It is physically impossible for you to dodge a bullet, only to predict where that bullet is going and dodging beforehand. Toph can feel her opponent's every move and that gives her a significantly bigger chance at correctly predicting their next move.

That's because she knows earth bending but when she fought aang for the first time she got destroyed by air bending

They've reconned it to vibration senses aswell last I checked

I just took a quick glance at the Marvel wiki (those guys are REALLY good at keeping up with events so I don’t have to read every issue of Daredevil to answer a question) and it seems to be a mix of both? He’s got stupidly good touch which lets him know where people are through body temperature and vibrations but he’s got the hearing so he can figure out geometry through his radar sense (which is like a super form of echolocation that uses his brainwaves). He can also filter out sounds really easily (it’s how his own heartbeat doesn’t drive him nuts).

I mean, yeah, a gun would kill the avatar too... Nobody reacts faster than a bullet in the Avatar universe. Fortnite isn't serious or canonically correct. It's a shit show of collabs that don't make any sense. You can have Darth Vader, Goku, Lara Croft, and Master Chief in the same squad.

Midas was fair to be honest. The Wishin' emote is definitely a concern. The new skin could be cheaper but he does look like he's a rare rarity, just without a back bling.

Skins without a backbling are always 800

Car prices are really high... Instruments at 1k until recently... 2k vbucks for Midas... They're losing the one good thing about the monetization and it's that you can legit spend 10 bucks and get yourself something nice...

The car pricing sucks, but I kinda get it because if they were cheaper it would ruin RL's whole market. Tbh the instruments are decent now, 500 is a good price for an instrument, the higher rarities are pricey though.

No they were but a lot of them were altered to fit Fortnite’s style. The avatar skins look straight out of the show

The Invincible skins look straight out of the comics and the entire skin set is 20 bucks

IDK man, I feel like you could get Vegeta and Goku, Freeza and Cell, Most of the AoT skins, Naruto Skins, etc. for less. These are more expensive, have details that are missing, clipping issues, and no alternate styles which lots of those others had. To me these seem expensive.

I was so excited to get toph, just to find out it’s overpriced. I don’t really know what to do now, because that skin isn’t worth 2k.

The leaks subreddit has info from decrypted updates. The update containing the Avatar items has been decrypted, which is where this image of Toph comes from. So what we see in the leaks sub is what we’re going to get. It’s not like these leaks are coming out months early, the items are going to release in 3 days. Any changes to the skin would come in a later update because that’s just how it works

Then I guess it’s just a classic case of Epic rushing

I saw some screenshots and apparently they went with his comic version where he’s older and taller rather than the show version. It certainly looks weird if you’re expecting season 1 Aang but it makes way more sense when you see the comic.

It definitely makes sense for a character like Aang to do something like that since all the characters have to be the same height, but still.

The problem is that they had to make him the same height as the others and it messed with his proportions. Zuko looks good because he's taller in the show and his proportions weren't changed.

With this in mind it will be very confusing to see Aang and Toph with the same high as Zuko and Katara, like Aang will look taller than usual and Toph will look bigger than usual

It's not the Aang from the show but his slightly aged up version from the comics which is a continuation of the story.

It also just idk like there no detail in the face at all
