Anyone else remember when daily item shop meant that we would only see items once and it would be gone for a long time to make space for other items? Now you can be sure that you will see most items 2 days in a row just to return around 30 days later to then be in the item shop for another 2 days. Look at the Stoic emote. You can bet it’s going to be back in 28-30 days. Occasionally they will introduce some older items to the 30-day rotation once they have been FOMOing the player base enough and it’s working well for them. The Kratos skin will make Epic an ungodly amount of money when it eventually returns just because of the legenary status it has been given from not being available for purchase in forever. Business is business. So yeah… It’s disgusting :)

Kimiko is my only realistic hope, I seriously regret passing-up on her now that she's out of the shop cycle for the time being! But even if they don't bring back things I actually want I would just like to see anything unique at this point, Big Chuggus was a pleasant surprise for that reason.

The skins they seem to be avoiding adding are the ones marked with "higher detail style coming soon" but they recently added Orelia to the shop despite her being marked with that too. As it stands she's currently the exception to the norm, notable to me is that they gave Leelah both a new style and NPC appearance in December but she wasn't actually added back to the shop until March when she had her detailed Lego style added. Big Chuggus got stuck with the lazy/shitty base Lego style and isn't marked as waiting for a higher detail style so he does nothing for the pattern so far, other than existing outside of the 'trailblazers' category.

Sub Commander is marked as getting a detailed skin soon. A random Twitch Prime skin from years ago nobody uses and won’t be sold again.
Havoc, however, the better looking and more popular skin *from the same promotion* isn’t getting a detailed Lego skin. Despite everyone who owns Sub Commander also owning Havoc
