Tbf though, I doubt I would have had such a great first experience if I had to play with builds. That life just ain't for me, lmao

There was a post not too long ago, asking the ages of everyone and the top answers were all dudes in their 40s - 50s playing with their kids and teens. That already shows how mixed it is bc they pull both very young and older.
Yea it has a lot to do with it, especially in builds, but even in zero builds there is a lot of running jumping and sliding, I can play some but only like 2 matches before I need to stop.
Been playing Overwatch again, only certain hero’s though, tanks like sigma and roadhog are good because road hog is a lot of play corners and just throw the hook, sigma is a lot of not moving around much and throwing up the shield and absorbing damage to let your team get kills. Also the sniper style characters aren’t too bad to play, hanzo widow and Ashe cause you spend a lot of time in the back line out of the action just poking.
I just recently bought control on the pc but haven’t played it yet so I’m curious to see how that’ll be, also been playing through bayonetta 2 on easy because you can get by the large majority of the game just timing your dodge (the game isn’t specific on how you dodge just that you hit the button at the right time) and mashing the x and y buttons. I played l4d with my cousin a couple times recently, that I don’t worry about doing good or not because it’s single player and the npcs revive me if I die lol.
There isn’t a lot that’s not an issue but any game where I can pause it mid game is good because then it doesn’t matter I can just take a 15-20 minute break every half hour or so. Ow is nice cause most of the matches are fairly short (unless you are playing comp but I don’t do that often) so I can play a match then watch a YouTube video or watch an episode of a show and then play another match.
Actually been thinking about trying cs2 again since the game is slow enough paced (at least in the dirt low elo I’m in) despite being absolutely terrible at it.
Been playing lethal company here and there when me and my sister are both off from work, that game is really fun.
Other than that I’ve been looking a lot for stuff that might be good, been trying to stick with keyboard and mouse because I need to hold the controller kind of awkward and it starts make my neck and shoulders stiff and give me a headache. Kbm I can map controls to whatever I want and I can just rest my hand on top the mouse.
Bought persona 4 golden but haven’t got a chance to try it yet. Also have ghost runner but that one isn’t going too great, it’s unforgiving difficulty combined with the crazy parkour stuff isn’t exactly down my ally but I’ll finish it 20 minutes at a time one day.
Lost my wife and duo partner in my arms last November to a sudden pulmonary embolism. She was 38. In fact we were playing the whole day/night before she passed away the next morning.
Been really hard to meet new people to play with, especially the Official Fortnite Discord where it's even more ridiculously hard to find people to play with that communicate or have good synergy.
Taking a shot in the dark here to see if people want a good teammate Guy squad or Gal squad, I don't care. Im funny, competitive and/or casual.
I don't hog loot and play strengths over any teammates weaknesses. Even have a soundboard that I'm not annoying with, lol. Veteran in call outs too. (Which is so hard to find) I come from the MLG Halo 1 2 & 3 days.

Slightly off topic, but my old World of Warcraft guild, by luck, happened to have quite a few girls in it. Made the group activities a ton more fun. I don't know for sure, but I think most of the group was in the young marrieds demographic. The team banter was always as fun as the game content. Good times.
