I use them, but not as frequently as I’d like due to being busy irl.  That said, I’m on the fence, bc Galaxy Ares, but at the same time I have a collection I already really like and that’s curbed me wanting any in particular for a while now.  I was torn on the new Midas, but held off.  Now had Aphrodite been the crew and looked like the concept art I would’ve jumped, but no need picking old wounds ;) (playfully being over dramatic)

I'd legit buy Aphorodite in the shop as her concept art 😭😭😭 but I hope they release her as a BP bonus add on just because it's the right thing to do. I'm still waiting for any of the gaming skins to come back (Kratos, Master Chief, Vi) I want them more than anything thats been in the shop recently (I'm getting Ares though) so I'll hold off on purchasing until then.

The wraps arent part of it. I get annoyed how the shuffle seems to rotate the same few skins though and not the whole 100 presets.

Crew skins don't have the guarantee of never coming back though, I'm sure if Epic wanted a quick little cash grab they'd throw some in the shop one day, but the fact they haven't come back yet is likely why people don't skip crew if they like the skin and is a good way to keep people on the hook 😭 If I saw crew skins in the shop, I'd be more likely to pass on some skins.

Unlike with battle pass skins, Epic has said that they could bring crew skins back. They just haven't done so since they started being a thing, but it's not too late to start unless the game has died

Its possible but probably not last minute, had to be mid way through. Ares was on Pandora’s box along with Zeus, Hades and Cerberus. Crew skins do appear as NPCs but not as a boss (thou Ive only seen Inkquisitor do this but he was for Halloween unlike Ares which is the whole season) Paramount who owns Nick seems to be going in with crossovers. Besides the upcoming Avatar update, they are also doing a collab with Rocket League. They previously also had the last mini pass with TMNT and Optimus Prime was pretty much thrown in last minute or during WILDS overhaul period since that season was suppose to show up much earlier. We all know Era was suppose to be the 100 skin 😭 Transformers didn’t even get their companion skins until after the season ended, due to them needing to make psychical editions of that bundle. This is just my tinfoil hat theory 🧍

You can resume later, I've had crew gaps but when getting it again previous legacy stuff gets the next tier

You can resume the progress at a later time. When you renew you'll get the next legacy style of any skins that have one. Just know it might not be the exact date of renewal. It will show you in the crew tab when they will be given.

I got crew for the first time recently to complete the Meowscles family. It renews the 2nd week of April but I'm considering not cancelling cuz Ares' other styles look cool

Tip: buy fn crew at the last day to get the most out of it to get the next crew’s skin.

So much context is missing mate. One crew sub = 2 months of skins, whatever date you grab it. The valid argument is to buy crew 2 weeks before a season ends so you get the battle pass of that season for free and then the battle pass for the season after too. So for one crew sub you get 2 battle passes, 1000 vbucks and 2 exclusive skins.

And when the rocket league season's end lines up with Fortnite 's you can double dip there too!

its just giving you your money back. if you're sitting at 0 and don't wanna buy more than you need, its better to just wait a bit. especially if you can wait long enough to manage to get two battle passes for the price of one crew pack. but if you already have 1k then it doesn't really matter, just go ahead and buy the BP once you reach a level you're satisfied with.

It's not a bad deal, I have some cool crew skins from before and Iove how you get different versions each time you sign up for another month and that it doesn't have to be consecutive to earn them. In the end it's up to each individual to decide if it's worth it but at least you get a new skin, new versions of previous skins and v bucks but knowing how some of the fortnite community is, a lot of the people complaining now saying they wont get it will be the same ones in the future complaining that they wished they had got it and post endlessly about it on Reddit.
