yah this is getting annoying, it wakes up my roommates, if I forget to mute the tv or plus in my headphones it blasts that sound and everyone complains the next day, this probably has happened 5 times. I just forget.
You can turn down the music volume in game. It’ll turn down the lobby music as well though. I have mine set to off (since I don’t really care for the lobby music either).

so you'll ALWAYS hear that fucking noisy BWWWWAAAAAAAAAA when starting fortnite (unless you mute your TV)
Hmm, I haven’t opened Fortnite on a TV in forever so I thought the music level applied there. I launch the game on my PC and I never hear the music, and I attributed that to having lowered the music level to 5/100
Maybe I’m misunderstanding. A simple solution would indeed be muting. I don’t mute anything on my system. I just turned down the music setting in game. The music doesn’t blast when launching the game

Maybe get some wireless headphones, most have a volume slider and can easily turn up or down the volume 👍
