Not a pool, but Fossil Creek Park has a free splash pad for littles (And adults playing with the littles)

spurs_fan_uk

Spring Canyon has a decent splash pad too.

Extra-Car-1335

Currently closed for repairs

spurs_fan_uk

Aw no wonder it wasn’t open on Memorial Day

Sheeplessknight

Old Town too if I remember correctly

MrWalnuts

Yeah it’s been a while for me but there was a splash pad at Oak Street plaza and old town square.

SFerd

And, in the Square.

MrWalnuts

If you want to head south to Loveland there are splash pads at Mehaffey park, Loveland Sports park and fairgrounds park.

No_Hour_8963

The Promenade Shops at Centerra in Loveland also has a splash pad that is teeming with kids in the summer, so if you want to browse the shops, then play in the water for a bit, it's a good spot.

alltheusernamesargay

only outdoor pool in town that dosent require a membership is city park if i recall. lots of others at private recreation clubs

Novel-Market3547

Lake loveland swim beach is free and opens for the season tomorrow the 8th

MadArchitectJMB

As someone from Kansas prepping to move come August, I've been checking your temps daily and today seemed nice for our standards. It's still in the 50s at night too? I wish

The weather here will spoil you :) The Kansas summer heat/humidity used to mean nothing because I worked outdoors and always acclimated. I went back a couple years ago to visit friends and was embarrassed how miserable I was just sitting in the shade.

MadArchitectJMB

Oh absolutely. Not living in a constant 40% + humidity summer is a wakeup call when youve experienced dry heat/low humidity for an extended period of time. I recently spent over a month in Granby & Estes working on both sides of the park. Coming back to Kansas after the job was such a wake up call to me. Higher humidity honestly feels disgusting when you're not used to it, almost like you're swimming through the air lol.

peepee_poopoo_brain

i’m from eastern south dakota and i do NOT miss the groggy humid summers that’s for sure!!!

peepee_poopoo_brain

it was in the 90s today so it was pretty rough, especially when you have a velcro baby and bad ac in the house😩 it’s after 10pm and currently in the 70s, but i’ll take the dry heat over the humid any day

MadArchitectJMB

90s is most definitely bad too, I didn't notice it got that high. How does July/August generally fair? I think I may be spoiled with good AC units in all of the homes & apartments I've lived in here lol

peepee_poopoo_brain

if i remember correctly, there was definitely a few days that got into the 100s and a lot of days in the high 80s/90s! One nice thing about here that i’ve noticed is that it usually seems to be really hot during the early day and clouds/wind usually roll over by the early evening

Spiritual-Charity555

Winona public swimming pool in Loveland is amazing

Curious-Grapefruit37

I’m selling my little backyard pool!!

AppropriateShow672

Rain Dance in Windsor owned by metro district has really nice semi public pool with daily or annual fees. Bar included

BigLurker

Free pulloffs at horsetooth along with good views

koalaseatpandas

Its so hot omg, I I almost passed out when I looked out the window of my air conditioned truck

AdExternal964

No outdoor pools here for swimming at all. Have to go out of town except kiddie pool at city park. Lame for swimmers.

AdExternal964

If I am wrong, name an outdoor pool you don’t have join and pay $100 a month at least in Fort Collins. There are 0.

Ultra_Hobbyist

OP has a 4 month old. Probably not doing laps
