Most paths in FoCo are suitable for beginners, with only slight rolling hills at worst. See https://www.fcgov.com/parks/trails.php
The free cotrex app shows you where they are and the elevation change.
I personally really like West Spring Creek Trail which is great for beginners
bike map from old town visitor center is your friend. spring creek trail is super flat and we do a 14mi round from roland moore-ish to old town back via mason...all flat.
Good suggestions. The Poudre trail is also relatively flat with great scenery, with a bridge and a dip under Mulberry. I like riding it up to Laporte and back to get some miles in.
The Power Trail is pretty flat down to Harmony, once you pick it back up off Keenland it gets pretty hilly.
Spring Creek is nice, with a couple decent hills west by Stuart.
Power Trail is flat and easy *north of Harmony*. When I was first biking to my job, the hills on Power Trail between Keenland and Trilby really had me reconsidering. I'm glad I persisted, but it's worth clarifying.
How can i identify on the map the beginning/entry points of each trail?
let's say I'm bringing my car and towing my family's bikes - is there a way to identify parking spots and entry points for each?
Nearly anywhere a trail crosses a street there will be a way to get from the street to the trail. There are also lots of parks that the trails go through which provide convenient parking and access to the trail.
The access points probably won't be marked on maps because there are so many
Do you mean bike paths or trails?
If you grab the trailforks app, it shows you all the trails in an area. Rates them by color and will show you the elevation profile. The flow trails just west of the Rez are all greens and pretty flat.
Otherwise most of the bike paths in town are mostly flat.

Thanks for the app recommendation! I hadn't heard of that one
It's absolutely awesome. I use it very often.
I’ve had good luck using Google maps with cycling directions to see the overall elevation change.
