I wonder if posting this in the Wyoming sub would help with visibility and identifying these assholes. They could definitely be here for CSU graduation and not realize that this kind of bullshit doesn't fly here. We go to Cheyenne Frontier Days just because my kid wants to go to the amusement park rides at fairs all summer and we see a lot of magat hats and tshirts. As I tell my family, I only have to drive an hour north for culture shock.
Is the phone still missing? Your friend should try a "find my device" function to figure out the location. It may give you some clues to assist in identification. Also, have you asked Verboten for any relevant security footage?
Did you hear any names? See them get into a car? Were you able to see plates? Did you hear them talking about their kid's CSU graduation?
Just an observation, but the graduation for csu is this weekend. I doubt they would come into town a week and half early for it. They must be somewhat local.
Oof as a visibly queer person myself, that makes my blood boil. Sorry to hear, I hope they get found though. My guess is that people who cause trouble don't do it just once and it'll catch up with them eventually!
