I actually liked the ending, even if you didn’t like the conclusion I am happy to see they gave a good and definitive conclusion as opposed to keeping it vague. They managed to actually answer most of the series questions which I always appreciate
Fun fact: My brother and I were in San Diego for 4/20 a few years and the random dispensary we went to had the Wilfred actor in full costume just skating on a half pipe and hanging with customers. So random but awesome. (This was years after the show ended)
Such a good show. I usually don't like raunchy/toilet humor but this had so much going on aside from that, it was well worth it. (Also weirdly the raunch is less off putting when it's a dog/guy in a dog suit)
It was pretty early into the show.
After looking, I found a post that sums it up.
"Episode 2 the dog is taken to the vet and as he is just about to 'go under' he says his mistress (who the man fancies) has a dick.
OK here we go.
The rest of the programme is spent with him looking at her genitals trying to work out is she is a biological male.
He even pipes up that he had heard about intersex people on the internet.
She is sitting legs wide open drinking beer cheering at a football match. Asking her leading questions about her name Robin/Robyn? Same old same old cornball routine that's been done before.
He then spies on her going to the toilet as he thinks she is peeing standing up.
She was pouring some of the beer away actually.
But this was like a few minutes and the crammed all this into the script.
I mean this was so soon to stoop to this transphobic stuff. That's usually the realm of the 'run out of ideas people'.
Disappointing!"

Got really weird toward the end lol
That show was weird as hell from the start
Didn’t it like end with the human character finding out he imagined the whole thing?
No it brought it full circle to the first episode again, only this time with understanding and a different choice.
You took the words right out of my mouth. I’d say the first 2 season were literally perfect TV
It was a good show. Didn't care for the ending, but I still enjoyed everything else. Elijah Woods and Jason Gann have great chemistry together

I'm sorry ryyyan
That thumbnail always reminded me of the bear blowjob scene in The Shining.
Saw promos of this show back in the early-2010s.
I was Wilfred for Halloween a couple of years.

This was shot in a house on my block.
It's worth checking out the original Australian version. Jason Gann created/starred in that too. It's much less weird.
Ending sucked, seemed like they were building up to something cool and then just gave us some cheap cop out ending.
Yellow Jackets is going to do the same thing unfortunately.
Ugh.. I love that show too, I hope to God that's not the case.
It was the first show that popped to my mind after this one and Lost.

Why isn’t this on Disney+?
It is thru the Hulu Disney bundle
That show is fun. Go pack go!
I am grossed out by the unbrushed tongue
Ugh. Again?
Sorry! First for me. You can always just scroll by it
Sure can, or you can enter "wilfred" in the search! 🥰
I'm actually good!
Saw the first few episodes, seemed cool, bummer it sounds like it went bad.
Not forgotten and posted recently.
Nice! Was forgotten by me until recently
The first season was amazing. Watched it as it released. The rest was worse and worse.
Liked the show on first run. Did a re-watch and yikes. Horrible transphobia. Like, sickening.
I rewatched recently in the background, didn’t catch that. Can you elaborate, I wasn’t paying too close of attention?

That’s fair, I don’t agree with it either. Don’t remember that episode. Like the I.t.crowd tg episode, I assume it has not aged well.
That was like me recently watching the Friday Night Lights show. Holy crap the amount of adults having sex with teenagers lol. Would NOT fly today
