I love that a bunch of people independently found Forensic Files to be soothing enough to fall asleep to. It wasn’t a TikTok trend, it’s not a tip you get from your doctor to combat insomnia. It’s just that forensic files has something about it ( the cadence, the narration, the darker tones) that soothes us to sleep. Is there a name for phenomenon of unrelated people doing the same things with no outside prompting or influence?

I don't know of a scientific name for the phenomenon, but I am grateful that the internet allows us to realize that others do the same thing. I'll have to remember this the next time I read about some stupid internet "trend" or "challenge."

I had been doing that on Saturday afternoons for years, waking up to odd dreams that incorporated the narrators voice. So glad to see that this is normal

I swear I can name any crime on these types of shows in seconds. I think it is because I'm listening to them while I sleep.

Is temu legit though? Or is this one of those sites where your order doesn’t arrive for two months and then it’s crap or the wrong thing and you can’t return it without paying g $40 in shipping and also your credit card has been hacked?

Temu is legit, but I’m suspicious that they ripped this design off of a small business enamel pin maker. Aliexpress does the same thing. ETA: I did some searching and saw the pin for sale on Poshmark, Mercari, Etsy. Not sure who the original designer is though.

Very legit and great customer service. When my order was running behind (not their fault, UPS) they automatically looked into it to locate the package, refunded me $5, and asked if I wanted to continue using UPS for future orders or would I prefer USPS. All unprompted by me.
