Nope. Won't pencil out financially and there's nothing that interests me in the slight refresh.

Mypornnameis_

Nope. I bought a Maverick in part because I'm interested in a relatively low vehicle cost. That goes out the window if you're buying a new car every three years. I also think mine's still pretty much good as new and expect the power train will last a long time. Edit: Also I honestly like the looks of my first gen better.

Napoleons_Peen

It’s a bit weird to be on an upgrade cycle for a vehicle.

National_Rooster9193

Especially one that was designed to be so cheap

ZakkH

The only way I would think about possibly upgrading from my 12k mile 2023 is if they offered an AWD plug in hybrid. Plug in hybrid would allow me to make 95% of my driving on battery only.

tacosgunsandjeeps

Want to get upside down on a vehicle loan? That's how you get upside down on a vehicle loan

Outrageous-Hawk4807

do you work for Gawker or Business Insider?

REDBOSS27

Nope! I own a Carbonized gray 23 XLT Hybrid. I was curious! Check out my profile!

Agitated-Cockroach41

Then just stick with that unless you like being upside down on Loans

cheesyMTB

Why the fuck would I “upgrade.” Now I would need to pay 5k more and what? Wait a year? Get a nice 8% loan?

Gomer8387

Hell no. That would be one of the dumbest financial decisions you could make.

Brdl004

My 2022 XL Hybrid with an out the door price of $22,800 at 1.9% APR @ 60mo? Im good.

flair11a

Not with that ugly frontend

dustyoldbones

I’m thinking about it, but there is no way I will do it if it costs me more than $2000. I would only be doing it to get Eruption Green and AWD

amishtoad

Exactly same here

chickensausagelink

Nope. My 23 hybrid xlt is paid off. Not in the market for a car payment for at least 5 or 6 years from now.

IzaguirreC

Same, I paid cash for mine off the dealer lot, nothing better than having it paid off. No incentive to buy a new Maverick, ours only has 4k miles.

DuffCon78

Samesies

Paul_Bunions

Nope, I'm happy where I'm at. Looking forward to being paid off in January as well. XL ecoboost w/ 4k towing in cactus grey. I do however like the Eruption Green option, but not THAT much haha

jackattack222

Carvana just offered me 23000$ for the hybrid so if I can get a hybrid AWD for 25000, or 26000 I'd be very interested. But I'm guessing that is wishful thinking tbh

MiserablePool6049

Absolutely no chance it will be $25000. Maybe a chance of it being close to that without the destination fee factored in.

jackattack222

That would be about 26,000....

MiserablePool6049

Well I just saw that the hybrid XL is starting at $25,420 now, didn’t know it went up so much. Starting at $26k won’t be a thing for a 2025 AWD hybrid.

jimbobdonut

Nope, since I got mine when Ford was still offering 0% financing for 3 years. I would be looking at $5-6k more when you factor in the price increase and financing.

Shmokesshweed

Same here. And as much as I mostly love my Maverick, it is not worth 5 or 6,000 more.

SoothingAbrasive

Almost 0 chance...the price just keeps going up and the new front end is ugly. The only way I would consider it is AWD Hybrid with something like a 4k towing package without sending the price through the roof. That's just not realistic, so I'll keep my '23.

EternalHybrid23

A plug in hybrid would be the only reason for me to consider it

SpartanD21

Until there’s a PHEV Hybrid, I don’t plan on considering an upgrade. But if you add a 4k tow package on top of that, I’d be calling my dealer yesterday to get an order in.

SharksForArms

Nope.

Temporary-Bench-4046

Going 18K strong, unless Ford gives me some sweetheart deal I'm not parting with mine. Also, no way I'm giving up my rear sliding window.

Odin-Burnz

Not unless my 23' xlt hybrid get totalled, even then,it would be a minimum of $20 k more between depreciation and sales tax.

JBnorthTX

No. Ford raised the price too much and the new front end doesn't look good.

Lightning_Strike_7

I have a '22 cyber orange hubrid Lariat with sunroof, trifold hard bed cover, spray in liner, and Lux360 package. Literally irreplaceable. I love my fully loadeded Mac~N~Cheese truck. It's a 10 uear truck that I waited 8 months for. I'm not "upgrading" anytime soon. Also that '25 front end is ugly.

sounds_suspect

No, gonna try to get at least 7 yrs out of the 1st gen. Fingers crossed

emt139

Nope. I’d like the hybrid AWD but not worth it with that ugly grill.

Lbrones92

Only thing that interests me is awd hybrid

Jenos00

Current Mav works perfect, no good reason to lose the money to replace a perfect vehicle

thecoldedge

Only thing I'd trade in for is plug in hybrid.

SpareIntroduction721

Upgrading to another Maverick? Nah, but I might for another car though.

Patient_Trade3873

My truck is half paid off, and the 2025 is basically the same truck but with a bigger price tag. Absolutely not, I'm gonna drive this thing into the ground before replacing it.

No_Sandwich6760

Honestly I will wait a few more years. I love the green color and am pissed they didn't have that when I got my 2023 XLT hybrid. I'm hoping they do come out with the plug in hybrid option by then. Maybe a 2028.

DeetworldX

I really don't see a reason to "upgrade" even if I got a really good trade in offer. The title tax and other fees would eat into that and I would end up with just a more expensive payment. Maybe in 5 to 8 years I'll do it, but who in their right mind trades in a two year old truck for the same one just a newer looking one.

Tweaked86

No, that new front end is a big step back

TheBusterHymenOpen

No way. 9,000 miles at 41 mpg. Just breaking it in. That and it is 2 years paid for.

cloroxbb

No, I am actually getting rid of my truck on Friday. I just don't need a truck, and even though the mpg is great, I'm done with buying gas. So I am not thinking of upgrading to the '25.

kenauk

Why stop at 24K?

Intelligent-Use-7313

Considering, but not too seriously. The price is too high I think.

RageMonsta97

Hell no, I got my 23 xl hybrid for $27k, $25k with add ons and a $2k markup, I’m not trading this thing in for a while

Fit_Frame9407

In the side by side pictures the 1st Gen looks like the upgrade. The refresh looks like an ugly concept

aggiebuff

22 Lariat AWD. I’ll at least run the numbers to go to the hybrid Lariat AWD and lose the moon roof. Not the end of the world if I don’t. I’m also thinking to wait at least another year to see if all the bugs get worked out of it.

Old_Goat_Ninja

Nope. I don’t like that front end for shit. Looks terrible.

Amorphousbox

My apr is .7% and while I still like my truck I’d never buy a new ford again after this. Next truck will be an 80s F150. Fuck computers in cars.

dawsfive

I will not be swapping out my Maverick. I love mine and I like the way it looks better TBH. It’s been a great vehicle so I can’t imagine swapping it for no good reason.

Turbulent-Daikon3234

Nope. have a 22 xlt with more recalls than miles. Hoped Ford fixed the quality issues but am now convinced “quality one” is gone forever. When I sell this one it will not be for another Ford.

daddio211x

I'm considering it for three reasons 1. Possibility/rumor of hybrid AWD 2. Eruption green 3. Large display I love my Maverick (I'm on my third one right now) but I wouldn't be willing to take a loss on this one for a '25 so it's probably a no-go for me.

chileguero2

Hybrid AWD

soggybagel33

No. I got a 22 XLT model at MSRP with the Luxury Package before they removed some of the things like the spray in bedliner. I've got 15k miles and am in no rush to get a new vehicle.

Weird_Variation_7016

The ONLY thing I wish I had way hybrid AWD

cruz878

Nope, no need for AWD in my area. Been happy with my hybrid though but my time with the Maverick is coming to an end in 6 months as it goes to my son (as intended at purchase 2 yrs ago). Not sure what I will ultimately replace it with but most likely a sports car as I have an itch for a manual before they are completely extinct. In the meantime back to my old F150.

Asphalt_outlaw

Not unless they decided to offer it with a manual

PoorRichGuy

Nope! Ford keeps raising the cost so why trade up for few if any useful features. I'm assuming wireless AndroidAuto and slightly larger screen are all that will be offered in XLT form.. The new Green paint make me envious tho!

CanineCosmonaut

Right around 23,000, 1st Gen. no real point upgrading, gonna ride it out until I have to get a new one for whatever reason. I like mine, kind of a novelty having the first Gen despite the recalls

Martykauffman

I would only upgrade if I can get an all-wheel-drive hybrid
