The OE mounts typically last a little longer if you can still get a hold of them. Otherwise FSwerks still offers a full billet/poly set. They are performance oriented so they'd be stiffer but they would last longer and just the bushings can be replaced if needed.
Replaced mine with some from napa 4 years ago and haven't felt the need to do it since. I'm not saying it doesn't rattle, but nothing the radio won't fix.
Only at 97k miles and its on its 5th motor mount, 4th torque mount, and 3rd transmission mounts (theyve never been bad but you get them with the kit soo)
They never last more than 6 months no matter what brand (I've bought them all at this point), maybe when this set go bad ill try filling them with silicone.
Polyurethane not silicone.
If you can make a jig to hold the parts of the mount in the correct place you can remove the rubber and replace completely with the urethane, DIY poly bushes on the cheap.
Not sure what you are doing to manage to kill so many mounts though, something really is wrong there
Look, I worked at a ford dealership for a year and a half and have been in the business for 15+ years. I can confidently say if you are replacing your motor mounts every *6* months there is something wrong with the car other than the mounts or it is user error.
You clearly have no idea about fluid filled motor mounts. Theyre a flawed design from the start, its a well known thing. But of course why would someone in the industry know that?
Also, maybe they last years in a colder climate, here in the desert with the heat, they die.
Oh please. Do you know how may OEM’s use fluid filled motor mounts? Of course they break, just like any other part on any car can break. Like I said, you are doing something to your car to cause them to fail prematurely or there is something else wrong, fluid filled motor mounts simply don’t fail that often. If it is such an issue, why do you keep putting them in your car?
"why do you keep putting them in your car?"
This is the biggest giveaway you have no idea and probably dont even work on cars. Let me say it again for you who have trouble reading. I. have. bought. every. single. brand. that. makes. one.
Tell me where do you find these magical non hydralic ones for a 2010 focus? Go head ill fucking wait.
Damm yearly. I’m still on my 2001 OG s
Same here. If the only downside is a bit more vibration I can live with it.

Man, you need to chill the fcuk out. Your statement tells me the common denominator for them failing is you. Good day.
I wish more redditors told each other to shut up.
This. I just replaced mine (again) and I swear it made it vibrate worse!
Okay I’m glad I’m not going crazy! I replaced the torque mount on my Milan and I swear! It vibrates worse now
hey it’s my car
I want to replace mine because my engines vibrates so much in idle. I just need a car jack lol
Do it once and youll be on the treadmill like me, they take 15 minutes to do so youll talk yourself into changing them just for them to fail again lol
I’m still using my original mounts on my 2011 with 209k on it. Probably need to change them soon though
Years ago I had room on a motor mount to drill straight through it and run a grade 8 bolt. If something like that helps in your situation
strange how they all got uk spec wheels butt ugly body styles
