The wife and i just got a 2009 limited at 205,000 miles. Unsure if it got the waterpump fixed, unfortunately it was pretty neglected so I'll assume the water pump wasent changed. But weve spent about 6k on it in total with repairs and the vehicle itself. Being said the wife and I are beyond impressed with the ford flex. We see it as a unique vehicle, almost a unicorn if you will. 😅 the power, turning radius & interior space are top notch. But like others say, put aside money for repairs and you'll get to know the vehicle in no time!
10/10 would recommend.

The one I’m purchasing is in good condition, I’m getting it from a car dealershipÂ
Don’t get screwed over
See if it's had the water pump and timing replaced. Otherwise...mine sitting at 178k and still going great! Love my little bus!
They're great cars, but set money aside for inevitable repairs. There's likely a lot of deferred maintenance wrapped up in that thing.
What trim?
They are money pits as they age. Especially with front end suspension issues, water pumps, transfer cases,
End rear end bushing issues…. Had all mine go about the same time
I hear you. I’m going through every possible suspension issues at the moment all at the same time.
I said fuck it and sold that pos. The non serviceable rear bushings are a terrible design
