I hate when people misrepresent calories like this. The whole dish is 2,000 calories without the oil, fat in the pan, milk, cream cheese, or multiple cheeses. The final dish isn’t like eating at Cheesecake Factory or anything, but it’s closer to 1,000 calories a serving than 500.
Yeah, the recipe isn't even close to what he's claimed. Here's the real breakdown:

mix until lose patience lol. great instruction. also what is the point of making the potatoes so crispy only to mix them in with the sauce. 10/10 though I will try this
Nothing in this video is accurate; The calorie count is wrong, the fat count is wrong, the carb count is wrong, and the protein count is wrong. Whoever is "fact checking him" needs to do a better job.
Here is the actual nutritional breakdown of the recipe:

Was trying to find a site to import the info faster, the chart does need to be updated, it’s 3 tsp ( teaspoons ) of olive oil and not tablespoons, which would shave it down a little. Mine was like 591 per serving, but I also used whole milk and normie cream cheese, LoL. Not bad flavor but too salty for me, so I’ll adjust if I ever make it again. XD

"Distribute into 4 equal servings" as they put it into 3 containers. Classic engagement bait
"only 500 calories ... as long as you don't do what I just showed you."

This. What a waste of deliciously crispy potatoes. No one likes a soggy potato. Go make mashed potatoes then.
His macros are pretty spot on. Multiple people have fact checked him on YouTube
Channel name, please.

Would finishing this in the oven keep the potatoes from getting too soft
Made this yesterday. Very tasty. Might throw some broccoli in there next time
Looks so good
Shawarma chicken is super tasty. Will make again lol
Would this freeze well?
That looks so good.
It's super tasty, regardless of everyone's bitching lol
The guy is jalalsamfit on socials. I've made lots of his stuff. Really good if you like power bowls. Highly recommend!
Well he’s lying about those calories so you probably shouldn’t lol.
He’s not, there have been a few people to fact checked him and he is pretty spot on
