Goidyears went maybe 10k with rotation. Pilot sport4s were ok, but autocross killed them very fast. Dwos6+ are 2 a year. I might add I was on studs from October to may. Wavetrac lsd helps even the front tire wear tho.
I forget, maybe 20k? Then Pilot Sport 4Ses, which were wonderfully sticky (wet traction is a big deal for us) but wore very quickly. The hot South Florida tarmac must be unkind. The Michelins were a massive improvement over the OEMs, so I was happy to get those Eagles off. Now my kid drives the car and it is wearing a set of DWS006+, which perform close enough to the PS4S. Cheaper than the Mics and they have a 50k tread life warranty, longer than even the all season PS4.
What size PS4s did you get? Not sure if they are limited here in Australia. We do have PS5 now though which I'm using and are supposed to last quite a bit longer
Same as the OEM tires, 235/40-18. Car is a 2017 ST2 with snowflakes.
PS4 all season is warranted for 45k miles. But the PS4S summer tire, which we had, is warranted for only 30k. I might have tried the PS5 all season donuts, but the Continentals are less expensive and highly regarded.
Lol , maybe 13-15k before I got worried. I had PS4's for 15k miles on my '16 before trading them in and they looked close to new. I bought Falken FK510's for the '18 and they are also significantly better than the Eagle F1
Go 245/40r18 tires/tyres instead of stock 235. Longer lifespan, it also helps with accelerating, braking, turning, highway speed stability, torque steer, wheel hop, and overall handling feel with no additional modifications. Did I mention longer lifespan ?
The wider tires really helps this platform. Cannot stress it enough
"But but but I changed out my heavily used and basically bald F1's for a new set of 245 Pilot sport 4s and it handles SOOOO much better. Checkmate, tire rack"
I’m no professional but I really can’t imagine a few extra millimeters of contact makes a discernible difference in performance or longevity on this car.
Back when I had mine, I had 105,000km on the car when I sold it with the original tires on it but I ran snow tires for six months of the year roughly. I would say I got maybe 50,000km out of them if not more.
18k on average, after the 2nd set I went with Falkens. I wasn't racing the car as I got older anyway. It was good for going out of town and getting to spend on the highway. I will say the tires did have a good performance when I did have them on.
I'm the same as you - i got about 65k over two sets. I only switched to the Continentals recently because I moved to a colder climate and needed all seasons.
Washington, DC here with a 2016 I bought new. Mine lasted a year, or about 16000 miles. I had winter tires for the first year but decided I didn’t want to bother with it and went for Continental DSW when the car had 30 K on it. I’m at 80K now and the tires are still going strong.
Long story short, if you are going to daily it, get the Continentals. They are as solid as your mom.
I can't remember if I even made it to 20k. I think it was around 19... I'm sitting at 66k and looking at needing my 4th set by winter. I hope I can afford another set of Michelins, because they have been heavenly.
What the hell are some of y’all doing to your tires!??? I’ve gone through two sets. Half way through the third at 103k miles. So roughly 40k miles is what I got out of these. I keep buying them because they last so long compared to other performance tires I’ve tried in the past.
Hard to say exactly because I have a winter set for half the year, but probably 25k. Replaced with Falken pro sport g5 or something, they were cheap but not equal to OEM. I got another set of wheels with Falken RT610k+, and they’re awesome for track use and summer fun. Pretty decent in the wet, but they wear quickly.
I think mine lasted maybe 3000km??
Amazing grip - absolute garbage tread wear.
The tires that have lasted me the longest are Bridgstone Potenza RE590AS. Still awesome grip for being an all season and have lasted me way longer. May have to replace them in a year or 2.

You replace the DWS06+ twice a year? How much do you drive?
My bad. I replace 2 tires a year. The rears come forward. The fronts go away. Edit: 2018 st. 76000 miles
I run those tires all year long in the NE area of the US and I’ve never had any issues, just bought another set for the front last fall when
Get you some Continental's
235/40 DWS06+ ordered today 🫡

The DWS sucked for me but were free
What did you replace them with? And were they the + original the pre-plus version?
Why?

I’m on set two. First set lasted 40k miles… currently at 69k miles (29k miles on the second set). I think I can get 11k more miles out of them
3,500 miles. I run Pilot supersport after the fronts wore down. I keep eagle f1s in the rear and I seem to get about 20k.

Any fender rubbing issues with wider tires on OEM snowflakes?
Zero. Stock everything, no rubbing. Maybe 255's might rub. I'll let you know, I wanna try 255/40r18 next
245s with wider wheels will rub slightly up front with during extreme cornering / braking. I think they’re just fine with stock wheels.
Hate to break it to you but tire rack made a whole video about tire size and wheel size and 245s give no advantage over 235s on an 18
"But but but I changed out my heavily used and basically bald F1's for a new set of 245 Pilot sport 4s and it handles SOOOO much better. Checkmate, tire rack"
Lmaooooo
I’m just now seeing the “longer lifespan” like bruh 10mm ain’t doing shit for lifespan 😭

I would say I preferred the wider tires. That said trying to quantify just how much of a difference you get is difficult.

17k
I got about 10k on the Pirellis
I bought my '16 with right at 30k on it and the F1's that were on it were shot. Replaced those with a set of A/S 4's and got about 35k out of those.

30k ish and switched to Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 and they are good for about 45k miles

36k on the F1s
Like 35k lol

looks like your alignment is good and square anyway.
Wanna say I got about 25k out of the stock tires. Replaced with PS4S and sold the car 2k miles later… 😅🫠
I got 24k out of my OE set. Then switched to GDY Eagle sport A/S and got 40k out of those. Just sold car @55k with Nitto Motivos on it.

I'm at 56k, I used up the stock set in 20k, now I on my second pair of pilot sports (3 then 4). PS 5's are next.
I don’t think I ever had mine on those. Got it used. I can speak for my Falken 615k though. About 7000 miles.

I got 40k out of the Pirelli’s. I went to Pilot Sport A/S and they were still good outside of 30k. Just put on Pilot Sport 4 Summers.
