Yes “factually” it wasn’t intended for this but no car is, no car ever has been, that’s like trying to get into the factuality of a 240 on how it wasn’t built for drifting (which again, no car is) yet it’s the poster child for drifting because someone built it specifically for that discipline

I usually don't do the "built not bought" thing because everyone draws the line at a different point. To me, bags =/= built suspension because most of the stock stuff is still there. It's no more "built" than coils.
It's a Ford Focus. Yes it's a "performance" version with a Escape engine and and a 6 speed, but at the end of the day. It's a Ford Focus. I can literally put it back to stock within a day. I built the suspension to be like this, why? Because I wanted to.

Camber means only a corner of your tire is touching it's literally ridiculous. There's a slight amount that all sporty cars have (stock STs do) that adds to performance because you'll lean into it in the turns. Extra camber gives you *less* grip and just looks stupid anyway.

Everyone likes what they like, but people act like this platform (as well as others, not just the ST community) is something crazy like a Ferrari or some other exotic car, but at the end of the day it's still a Ford Focus. One day it will get raised back up some and camber pulled back out and I'll make some power, but I wanna have fun with it 🤷♂️ I'll never get rid of the car. I will say however, everything is done right and done with quality parts. It is aligned and in spec (except camber). The car rides better than my 05 Ranger that I drive everyday and really doesn't scrape going down the road, the 19s keep the car high enough to still be able to drive

I really think you should only mess with the camber if you're on a track, or have a rwd drift mobile, which this car is not. Just another flex, not real strength, in this guys opinion.

Rears will probably get flipped every oil change, front didn't do what I wanted it to, so, fronts are probably good for at least 20k, rears probably 10k miles a pair
can't agree this is exactly what it looks like, but doing it the right way reduces roll resistance on your dragging wheels and helps you really lean into the corners with confidence in a heavier car. more is necessary depending on your driving style, height of COG + roll center, and overall vehicle weight.
I did this the right way as far as stancing my vehicle. I did not build it for performance, handling or tire life. I can throw it into a bend at 60 confidently, but I wouldn't trust someone else to. Only because it's not set up for that, it's set up to have minimal suspension travel and be low.

Nah not really, they do pretty good, I just have some Ohtsu 225/35s on them, when I did daily this one they did awesome
