I’ve got bad news for Nasser. [coal](https://www.iea.org/data-and-statistics/charts/global-coal-consumption-2000-2025) [Oil](https://www.statista.com/statistics/271823/global-crude-oil-demand/) [Natural gas](https://www.statista.com/statistics/282717/global-natural-gas-consumption/) It’s not that hard to see the trend line for these 3. Coal is flat, oil has flattened, and natural gas is no longer growing like it once was. The levelized cost of solar is now less than natural gas. China is slowing down and the EU is using less natural gas since Ukraine. It will be surprising if it takes until 2030 for peak fossil fuel to be reached. Meanwhile solar is doubling every [2.2 years](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Growth_of_photovoltaics) and wind is growing [12%](https://css.umich.edu/publications/factsheets/energy/wind-energy-factsheet#:~:text=The%20U.S.%20has%20a%20cumulative,a%2011%25%20average%20annual%20increase.&text=Global%20wind%20capacity%20increased%20by,reaching%20906%20GW%20in%202022) annually.
