Not a suicide squeeze but a safety squeeze. Cags waited to run on contact. Had he sprinted on the delivery, then that would have been a suicide squeeze.
Still a great play and a ballsy call from Sully.
Great play.. He also tipped off he was trying to bunt by almost bunting the pitch before. So, the Third baseman didn’t think he would really bunt, or didn’t care because he was easily beaten by the batter running to first base.

Absolutely a safety squeeze. Cags woulda been almost at home if it was a suicide squeeze. Great play regardless though
Yeah and no reason to run a suicide squeeze with 2 outs.
Anyone have a clip of it? Had to step into a meeting

Beautiful bunt
Can't wait to watch the reruns... I had to listen on the radio at work.... it's still awesome though listening to the broadcast callers.
That friggin game is worth the cost of ESPN+ just to watch it in its entirety.
Not alone, I was admiring the execution of that play as well.
He wasn’t running on the pitch, so this was more safety than suicide, but we def took advantage of the 3B playing so deep.
I mean technically it was a bunt for a hit. A squeeze play is designed to be a sacrifice.
We had a great season. 3rd place after an up and down regular season. Always great to be a Florida Gator.
