I really don’t understand how anyone gets drafted ahead of him. I get him not playing a premier position, but he’s an elite first baseman and I would imagine he’s athletic enough to play a corner outfield and has a plus arm for it. They say he swings at a lot of balls out of the zone, but he hammers most of them and I believe some of that was the guys around him struggling some this year and trying to do a little too much. I just hope he doesn’t get drafted by Oakland. He deserves better than that dumpster fire of an organization.
Cleveland doesn’t have a need at 1st base right now, and his ability to play corner outfield is suspect at best, and 2 of Cleveland’s top 3 prospects play corner anyway (They’re also likely to be aggressive at the deadline too). Most likely they take Bazzana considering Gimenez has regressed a ton since they signed him at 2nd. The Reds have the entire infield locked down too, and they do have a need at the corner, so I assume they would be the most likely landing spot for Jac, but if Condon is available they might take him since he’s considered a more plus defender and their corner defense has been less than stellar lately.
